Ben Lomond Cottage

Perfect, cosy cottage

Pros: Clean, comfortable and very cosy cottage. Very well equipped with everything you need. We really enjoyed our 2 nights here and were lucky to enjoy a day of glorious winter sunshine to explore the area. Happily recommend Ben Lomond cottage to anyone and would stay again.

Perfect weekend stay

Pros: The cottage was just perfect. Clean. Modern and comfortable. It had everything we needed.

A cosy cottage to shelter from Storm Amy!!

Pros: A lovely cottage. Comfortable seats and beds. Lovely bedding. A well.equiped kitchen, everything we needed. Very clean. Easy walking distance to the local pub/ restaurant and the Loch Lomand.

Cons: I'm being picky here, but if we'd been a bigger group a dish washer would have been handy. Generally no complaints, it was lovely.

Pros: Very clean and modern. Lovely facilities and good bedrooms, kitchen , lounge and bathrooms

A perfect getaway at the start of the Highlands

Pros: The living space was perfect - loads of room to break out and enjoy time to unwind in the evenings. There was a book with helpful tips for the area and leaflets. It was right next to a restaurant that is a converted church which had great food. It is also an 8 minute walk down to the pier. Loved the welcome pack also. Host was very helpful and had great communication when needed.

Cons: Nothing it was perfect.

Happy holiday in a lovely area. Couldn't find anywhere to buy venison.

Pros: Grateful for welcome bottle of wine and biscuits. Helpful owner who responded to a query on the heating. Good quiet situation.

Cons: Can't now remember any problems. Suggest that if each guest had different coloured towels it would be helpful. Unimpressed by early closing time of nearby hotel.

Pros: Love where it's situated and the cottage is lovely and homely

Cons: Tiled floor in on suite wasn't very clean and there was some loose tobacco in the top beside drawers.

Pros: Second time staying here this year. Location is excellent for hillwalking. You are a short drive or half a hour walk from arrochar where you have the arrochar Alps to explore. Cottage is extremely comfortable and well kitted out.

Great location, clean and ideal for a family.

Pros: Excellent location, easy to get to Arrochar and Tarbet (for Lock Lomand), we walked to both. Property was clean and quiet, close to the railway. Sheets/Towels etc were provided and clean. Booking and communication was good. Kitchen was well stocked for cooking, Small outside area with a picnic table. Ideal for train travel too.

Cons: No issues (except the dish washer, during out visit, but parts had been ordered).

Fabulously well appointed, comfortable family cottage.

Pros: The property was exceptionally well appointed. The bedrooms and bathrooms were clean and very comfortable. The sitting room was very homely and well laid out. We loved the kitchen - it had everything we needed for preparing packed lunches to making a full roast dinner. We especially liked that the mugs were sturdy and held a full cuppa, and the glasses were a sensible size! Added extras such as a wide variety of books, DVDs a CD player and games were welcome, and the great pile of books about the local areas and local maps to use was brilliant. Loads of hot water and a welcome tray were also great bonuses. It was great to have a washing machine and towels provided - saved on space for us travelling up. The wi-fi was perfectly OK - it wasn't as fast as the kids would have liked, but this suited the grown ups absolutely fine!!
