Viking Cottage

Wonderful stay at Viking Cottage.

Pros: Viking cottage was extremely comfortable, clean and central to nearby places to eat and drink. The views from the rear of the cottage overlooking the Loch were stunning and we were fortunate with the weather during our stay to enjoy the outside area and explore Arrochar which is a lovely village . I would definitely return to Viking Cottage it was lovely..

Cons: Nothing not to like. All good.

Cons: only thing is the double bed mattresses could be doing with new ones springs were poking into us so we slept in the single beds , tv or wifi wasnt really working properly

Pros: Good location to access Loch Lomond and Trossachs. Facilities in the village are very close by. Impressive view of Loch Long and the mountains. Roomy bedrooms.

Cons: House could have been cleaner. It also had a bit of a damp smell.

Pros: The place is great, comfy bed, decent size cottage, great views.

Cons: We missed a BBQ but thats okay, and the check in and check out wasnt the bed too late for check in and too esrly for check out.

We will be back to stay with family! Wonderful spot and cottage.

Pros: Stunning location overlooking Loch Long, within walking distance of a minute or two to several places to eat and also a very good local shop. Most importantly, 2 minutes walk to the trailheads for a number of great hikes, or to drive for day trips. Excellent fit out throughout property: great shower; everything you need from coffee machine with pods to excellent wifi (I had a bit of work to do so was thankful For this) . Spacious bedrooms and very Comfortable beds but the view over the loch from every room and the direct views from decks outside were the highlight.

Cons: As with any place around the lochs the house has the road behind it, so on a weekday the traffic noise does start early, but it didn’t really affect us.

Pros: The house is beautifu, very clean with a very homely feel. The scenery is stunning. Locals very friendly.

Pros: The cottage is incredible from inside ,with stunning view from the terrace. The kitchen lovely and has everything things you need. Really it’s was a wonderful experience to stay in this beautiful cottage.

Cons: No near shops

Stunning house!

Pros: Out of all the houses we've stayed in, this one wins by a landslide. Absolutely stunning, inside and out. The garden is breathtaking with many different spots to sit and relax. We went with some friends and there's plenty of places to hang out together, but also the bed rooms are big if you want to chill out and have some quiet time alone. Already can't wait to go back!

Beautiful location /cottage and lovely host

Pros: The cottage was beautiful with a stunning view . It had all the amenities we needed included a highchair for our toddler. It was a great location and we would definitely stay again . The hosts were always responsive and kindly let us check in a few hours before the proposed check in when our circumstances changed .

Viking Cottage walking weekend.

Pros: Fantastic location. Easy parking opposite. We were initially a little concerned about evening food options in Arrochar but, in the end, found 3 decent places within walking distance so all good. We were exceptionally lucky with the weather.

Cons: Nothing to report.
