Pros: It was an amazing stay at Kathy’s house. The place is lovely and Kathy was really kind and welcoming, she waited for us even though it was late. The house was well furnished and at about 20 minutes walk from Uphall’s station.

Highly recommend and will definitely book here for our next trip to Edinburgh

Pros: Kathy was an excellent host. Very attentive and welcoming. She left us a great breakfast package and everything we needed for a 2 night stay. There was plenty of room for our family of 4. Beds were very comfy, a lovely location with easy busy service into city and airport.

A good location to explore Edinburgh and surrounds with a very friendly host.

Pros: Kathy was a great host and very welcoming. Of all the BnBs we stayed in on our trip, Kathy provided the best welcome pack and a great, eclectic library. Off street parking was a bonus.

Cons: Kitchen facilities are limited, but compensated by the welcome pack.

Pros: The property was lovely and very comfortable! Also had great amenities everything you could need and a bus stop just 2ins away so easy access to Edinburgh central.

Scottish treat - in a suburb of Edinburgh

Pros: Extremely comfortable and clean - within an easy commute from downtown Edinburgh on a main bus route. Lovely comfortable suite in an executive home in a nice, quiet neighbourhood.

Pros: The welcome we received, the attention to our needs. Lovely location for our needs linlithgow palace, blackness castle and five sisters zoo. Near shops, lovely garden, loved the accomodation and we made lovely meals between the toaster, fridge and microwave. Cleanliness excellent. Excellent shower.

Cons: I'm a technophobe so found the smart TV a bit difficult but soon got the hang of it and got to watch strictly come dancing on iPlayer. No other concerns

Pros: It was perfect for myself and children. Felt like a home from home 🏡

Pros: It was lovely & clean. Very quiet at night. The bed was excellent, super comfortable.

Attentive host and comfortable home for the weekend.

Pros: Host was amazing, very accommodating and friendly. Breakfast basket was very welcoming and practical. The bed was really comfy and the room was airy. The shower was great too. The location was ideal for us.

Cons: The en-suite had a small sink which was only suitable for hand washing because of the height of the corner shelf above it. The sink in the toilet was better, so we spent time going from one room to the other to get ready. A simple solution would be to get rid of the corner shelf. Lack of kitchen sink, cooking facilities and washing machine would not make it a suitable stay for longer than the weekend.

Exactly as we had hoped for.
