We had a fantastic time at the lodge.

Pros: Comfortable and spacious for a large group. Super clean and well equipped. Staff were really helpful, friendly and welcoming.

Cons: Lodges were near a busy main road. But otherwise a great location on the outskirts of Stirling.

Lovely lodge

Pros: The lodge is lovely decorated. Kitchen is well equipped. Bedrooms are all spacious and bright (except the double bedroom its quiet tight) beds are comfortable. lounge/ dining area is laid out perfectly for all staying over. Bathrooms are of good size & showers were great! Hot tub & outside area would be great in good weather

Cons: Doors not having thumbturn locks meant we had to keep searching for keys

We made it a great stay, but poor customer service

Pros: Initial communication Great location Great sized lodge with everything you needed Fantastic sized rooms & shower Hot tub undercover/indoors Our 2nd day we went for a walk, one of the site staff (female with black Merc) was so lovely and even offered us a lift. Couldn't have been anymore helpful and pleasant.

Cons: Hot tub wasn't heating up 2nd day(these things happen so that wasn't an issue), but it was the customer service that let it down. I was told to use another tub which we did (again no great issue). Next day was told to use another tub again until engineer arrived. Alternative tub was locked, made contacted with the person I'd been dealing with and they said mine was working again. Nobody told me this, so we went a FULL day with no tub. When you pay over 700 you expect to have use of this facility. It was then made out that I should've made contact with the staff who'd been on site that day. I was last told I was waiting on an engineer. Surely staff should've made contact with me. Someone apparently was at our door (we never heard them). They did have my number so why not call me to update me? This is when communication became very poor. Made out it was my responsibility to find staff and also they just stopped communicating. No clear instruction of what to do with keys etc once checking out (reception was closed). Welcome pack needs more useful information and also needs updating. Air fryer hadn't been cleaned since previous persons visit No lighting out to hot tub (we were in cabin 1) - the hot tub was a bit further away over a stretch of muddy grass, this was quite dangerous, especially when it was so wet outside. Yes there were stepping stones but still pitch black and the further out you got there was an overgrown bush, so no option but to walk on the grass. Budget scrimped in certain parts of property (by no means did this ruin our stay but thought it should be mentioned). Very cheap cutlery and furniture needs attention/renewed in the bathroom. Bedding also very cheap.

Fantastic stay with friends

Pros: The lodges were excellent, Very modern and clean and had everything you needed. Pleasantly surprised that there was a lovely bike/walk path which you could get out and get some fresh air and exercise. The pictures on the website do not do them Justice

Cons: They are near a busy road and would recommend ear plugs if light sleeper. There was a smell in our losge from the boiler in the kitchen which you could smell in living room, you have to keep window open which isn’t great as very cold outside.

A quiet, relaxing break from work and city living.

Pros: The location was easy to find, and the lodge had everything we needed for our stay 😊

Cons: It is located just off a busy road, but the surrounding trees helped buffer the noise from the traffic.
