Pros: Great location and lovely size. Will was very friendly and welcoming. Had a homely warmth to the place and was a brilliant size for us all. Had loads of Dvds and games for us too

Great for a family break

Pros: Excellent setting, the property was very well presented with lots of little welcoming touches. It was very easy to find with the instructions and easy to check in. Spotlessly clean and well organised. Everything we needed was there and we had a wonderful weekend.

Lovely, comfortable lodge surrounded by beautiful woodland’s. Will definitely be back.

Pros: It was clean, spacious and comfortable. It had all the necessities you could think of. The location is excellent if you’re wanting to visit the bigger cities like Edinburgh, Dundee and Glasgow as they’re only around an hour away.

Relaxing stay in beautiful surroundings

Pros: Property was very clean - excellent communication from the owner meant access was seamless. Everything needed for a relaxing stay. Welcome letter provided all necessary information about eating out, shops etc. A toilet and a separate bathroom with shower and toilet was a welcome surprise!

Cons: As we travelled with two teenage daughters the lack of mirrors specifically a full length mirror was mentioned! That really was the only thing missing

Excellent location for local walks in the nearby hills or as a base for travelling further afield

Pros: Location was excellent and property was ideal for our needs. Enough space for the three of us and very comfortable. Plenty of DVD’s and books if the weather was a problem.

Great lodge, great host, good value for money!

Pros: More spacious than we anticipated. Helpful and welcoming host that was easily contactable. Little touches like milk in the fridge went a long way.

Cons: More oven trays would’ve been helpful as we had to cook our dinner in stages but a small matter that didn’t affect our stay.
