Hidden gem for a getaway to recoup and recharge

Pros: The lodge was extremely spacious and very well presented, there was a welcome pack there giving us all the information we needed for the duration of our stay. The WiFi was decent but we didn't use our phones much apart from ordering a takeaway and looking for directions. The heating was on for us arriving which was an added bonus. The bed was comfortable but felt like we rolled into the middle but didn't stop us from having a decent sleep. Loved the hot tub. We had absolutely no issues with our stay and would definitely recommend to friends and family.

Pros: Door was unlocked ready for our arrival. Hot tub was fab.

It was lovely and the shops are about a 10 minute drive away, close enough, but far away from anything for a quiet stay.

Pros: Beautiful location. It was clean and quite big, perfect for a couple. When we arrived late in the evening, the heating was on as well as Christmas music on and the hot tub ready and working for us to use. Had issues with the hot water, but they replied very fast to our email and explained why.

Cons: Had some issues with the hot water not working properly for a day or so and we were not told that might be a problem prior to us getting there. There was not chopping board, so make sure to bring one. The frying pan is not the best, so if you are staying for longer and plan on cooking, maybe bring a good frying pan as well.

Pros: Large spacious area. Very private at hot tub area. Clean, comfortable and tidy

Cozy cabin with a hot tub in a nice area

Pros: The property was nice, clean and cozy. There was everything we needed. Hot tub was perfect and well-maintained, a man every morning came to check it. The area was quiet and the location perfect to explore around.

Cons: The water that came out from the tap sometimes was too hot, almost boiling

Decent like place to stay

Pros: The size of the property and the view from the front balcony

Cons: Wardrobe needs updating and the iron board needs replacing also the internet isn’t that fast ,no onsite shop and the lodges and all wood work needs painted to freshen the place up

Pros: Amazing few nights stay at this lodge. Beds very comfortable slept no problem great location and was nice seeing the wildlife. Hot tub was amazing will definitely be back again!

Cons: Squeaky floor in kitchen wasn’t too much of an issue. The WiFi dropped a lot. TV in bedroom could do with being a little bit bigger 😂
