Comfortable wee place to stay, ideal if you’re travelling with kids. Good facilities and heating system. Host is attenti

Pros: It’s a good size for our family, 2 adults and 2 kids. Good facilities for cooking. Good warm bedding provided. Internet worked very well. The last time we visited in 2022 the internet was run from the main house. There is now a modem in the static home giving better internet connection.

Cons: Nothing to do with the property itself but we liked it the last time due to being near the train station. However, the train prices have more than doubled so we opted for using the car and the bus on this visit

Great location, room and affordable stay

Pros: We requested an early.check in as we where visitng for the 6 nations rugby, allowed it with 0 problems, immaculate room, great location as its close enough to edinburgh and at a great price, we will deffo be back here.

Cons: I didnt like the fact my gf had work and we had to leave early 😂 i have 0 quarms with this place.

Lovely place for my dog and I's stop over!

Pros: Lovely place with friendly host. The room was nice and the bed was one of the comfiest I've slept in! My dog was welcome which is a bonus and the location was quiet.

Family time

Pros: Location very good next to train station and asda, walking. Beds comfortable, only problem was with shower not powerful for it to be hot, but was OK, lovely warm place as it was -, snow. Would go back.

Met our needs - we just needed a bed for the night.

Pros: Very homely. Owners were very friendly & welcoming.

Cons: Could be awkward if sharing the room with anyone other than family as en suite is small & about 12inches from the side of the bed! Privacy is impossible.Also impossible to wash your face in the tiny sink. We managed but a larger sized person would struggle in this room.
