Pros: Friendly staff, exceptional breakfast, comfy bed, shower with plenty of water pressure, well equipped shared living area. If I was there for more than a brief one nighter, I would have enjoyed going around and seeing the horses - maybe next time!

Cons: As a runner, it wasn't the best of locations to run out from, with very few pavements in the local area. Minor road noise from the motorway, but it didn't affect my sleep, and I'm a light sleeper.

Peaceful, relaxing stay, cosy rooms and fab breakfast.

Pros: I have been returning for years and will continue to. Hosts are lovely, providing cosy and clean accommodation with comfy beds and hot shower complete with amazing breakfast. Will be back.

Clean, cheap and cosy. I slept like a baby, and the breakfast was fantastic

Pros: Secluded and quiet. Breakfast was superb. Lovely welcome. Dogs allowed. Good walks nearby. Owners were very pleasant and friendly.

Great guest house between Glasgow and Edinburgh.

Pros: Great location between Glasgow and Edinburgh, with all that makes a great guesthouse stay - comfy beds, friendly owners, and a generous great breakfast. Added bonus of observing the farm ponies helping local children to lead better lives, as well as adding something special for guests who could offer some pats to some friendly ponies and cats.

Pros: The bed was huge and comfortable. We had the lounge/kitchen to ourselves as there were no other guests, which suited us.

Cons: The breakfast was adequate, but the food was NOT high quality. Disappointing for a Scottish breakfast, I would expect better from an independent.
