Looking forward to our return already. 10/10!

Pros: Lovely home from home feeling. Great log burner for a cold wet February afternoon. Kids loved the location and layout of the property.

Cons: The glassware could do with adding some pint glasses

Absolutely fantastic

Pros: This is our 2nd time staying in the Balmory Stables and again we absolutely loved it. The very good sized boot room is a blessing when you’ve been out to dump all your wet and muddy clothing and boots. It’s great for the dogs too. Everything is there that you need. (Including dishwasher tablets, wood and lighter for the fire, cleaning products, shampoos and shower gels, hairdryer, towels plus so much more) the kitchen is a great social space with plenty of room, the beds are comfy with a good selection of pillows. It was absolutely spotless. Its location is great for walking your dogs. We also had Dears in the garden. It’s also a few mins walk to the sea which is great. Our ferry was cancelled due to a storm but the agents contacted us and were so unbelievable helpful in every way. We ended up staying another night. (Which was fantastic)

Pros: We absolutely loved the property! The kitchen is a great social area. The large boot room is perfect for wet dogs to dry and leave all your muddy boots. The beds are so comfy. The property has so much character. You are only a few minutes walk to the beach and the local bus stop. The taxi from town was easy to get and cost around £12 which was great after a night out in town.

Superb value for money in this gorgeous conversion

Pros: The space & amenities here are outstanding. We were extremely comfortable & warm too.

Cons: A little more attention required on the sofa cleaning.

Doon the watter.

Pros: Everything. We could live here permanently. Suit more people than just the two of us, as the property is sizeable to say the least.

Cons: Hall carpet is a bit loud, but I'm being really picky.

An incredible stay!

Pros: I don’t think the photos fully do the stables justice- we had the most fabulous stay!

Cons: Larger/ more luxurious towels would be my only request!

Pros: Beautiful property with so much space. Washer was a bonus after several weeks camping

Cons: The tumble drier was not in English. Hadn't been made up but we did only book on the day. Easily solved using our own
