Excellent accommodation in a stunning location
Pros: We were greeted by Janice who was friendly and welcoming and was happy to accommodate our earlier check in and breakfast earlier than they would normally serve. Breakfast was continental and it was beautifully presented and there was plenty for 2 people, Tayiti who brought us breakfast on our 2nd morning was lovely. The accommodation was beautiful and in a stunning location, best bed I have slept in! I would absolutely go back to St John's rectory and would recommend to anyone wanting a beautiful home in a stunning setting for their stay.

Great stay and wonderful location in Glencoe.
Pros: Location looking up the loch and to the mountains, and beautifully appointed room made for a wonderful stay. The property is a magnificent building and the hosts were exceptional in looking after us.
Cons: Minor but didn’t find showering in bath easy.

One of a kind
Pros: What a beautiful hotel. Boutique. One of a kind. Even driving past, it stands out on the side of the hill with a beautiful exterior. Inside is even more beautiful. So well renovated. A dream home, and a dream stay.

Quaint and comfortable stay with very welcoming staff
Pros: A perfectly quaint stay just outside of Glencoe! My partner and I stayed in one of the rooms of the main building. The service and owners were amazing and lovely, making us feel welcome from the start. It was more Bed and Breakfast vibes rather than an inn or hotel. It’s in a convenient location and close enough to easily drive to Fort William and the main area of Glencoe, making it a great home-base. The room was very well decorated, giving a fun and cliche Scottish experience. They had complimentary coffee, kettle, and mini fridge set up in the room, making it very comfortable for us. I would definitely recommend this place as a home base for the Glencoe area. The hosts are amazing and it was a very fun experience staying in an older and classically decorated house.
Cons: The views were beautiful, but the nature experience is slightly taken away from the traffic sounds as it is right next to the main highway. The specific room we stayed in was listed as having a “private” bathroom, but was located in the shared corridor rather than attached to the room. We were assured that this specific bathroom was for our use only, though didn’t feel as private having to go into the shared area to access it. Many of the amenities listed are off sight from the location (spa, outdoor adventure, etc), but the team are supportive in getting them booked in for you if you give enough notice.
