Wonderful.

Pros: The welcome was warm and Mike was just the best host and his dogs are a delight. The room was great, shower was hot and good power, the bed was super comfortable. The views are stunning and we got the best advice on where to eat and what to see.

Cons: Nothing - really fantastic.

Cons: If you want to go for dîner at the old inn, think of reserving many weeks in advance! They are extremely busy. Alternatively, go for a drink at end of evening 😀

A real gem of a hotel - and host! One of the highlights of our trip.

Pros: One of the highlights of our entire trip: from the start, Mike made us feel so welcome and at home. Breakfast was amazing, Mike even took his time to book us a restaurant for dinner, and gave us recommendations for restaurants and the area. The rooms are generous and inviting for short and long stays. It's not your run of the mill hotel, the rooms and common area really tell a story of someone putting actual care and their heart into it. It's a pity we had so many things to see that we honestly didn't get to spend enough time listening to Mike's stories, reading out on the balcony, or just relaxing on one of the (by accident) two huge beds in our room. We could not recommend a stay at Appin Bay View enough, and will definitely come back. Thanks for everything Mike, and see you around.

Stunning Location

Pros: Our room was a great size, beds comfortable and the little extras especially a fan were very welcome. View from communal balcony was amazing, such a fabulous location. Mike was very welcoming, breakfast was 5 star!
