A warm welcome and amazing views

Pros: We had a wonderful welcome from the hostess. The place felt warm and homely and had breathtaking views across Oban.

Cons: That we'd only booked one night.

Great option for a stay in the centre of Oban.

Pros: I was travelling with my sister. Our twin room was clean and comfortable. Tea, coffee making facilities were provided in our room which had a great view of Oban harbour. We knew that breakfast was not offered but we appreciated that bananas and breakfast bars were. Shared shower facilities were clean and water was hot. 10 min walk to centre of Oban. Friendly host and staff.

Peaceful, cosy and comfortable.

Pros: Zander was incredibly prompt and helpful; the room was lovely - clean and tidy, and the view just wonderful; it was lovely and quiet, so I was able to work in the evening; bathroom was very nice and clean; fruit bowl was a nice touch!

Cons: I'd have quite liked an extra blanket on the bed! Other than that, just great.

Lovely stay very convenient for the ferry

Pros: The view was amazing and the staff were extremely helpful & friendly. I had no problem with accessing the shared bathroom. Providing a fruit bowl is a thoughtful touch.

Road Trip with our Texan friends

Pros: Lovely old house on the hill exactly as described. My friends and I had a comfortable stay and enjoyed our visit to Oban. Zander was very attentive to any requests.

Lovely room with a great view

Pros: It's an old house that has been renewed, but it still keeps the essence. The place was very comfortable and the room had a great view.

Cons: The bathroom is shared, which wasn't a big issue for me, but some people may find uncomfortable.

A room with a view

Pros: Room was very clean with tea, coffee and milk supplied. We were in Room 8 which has an amazing view. Great communication from the host checking we were okay with everything. Check in process very easy. Did I say we had an amazing view from our room?

Cons: Missed not having an ensuite, only because at my age I get up to go to the loo at least twice during the night.... Just a little bit out of town. 5 GBP taxi fare or 15 minute walk.
