A great place to stay in a lovely location close to the town

Pros: This property was superb it was very clean, with lovely sheets and pillows. Very comfortable and warm. The owners were lovely and nothing was too much trouble for them. The breakfast was excellent and gluten-free bread was always offered. The location of the guesthouses is a 5-minute walk from the town. We loved it here.

Cons: There is nothing i didn't like about this property

Superb accommodation and hosts

Pros: Fantastic room and the whole experience was excellent. Karin and Clive are superb hosts and nothing was too much trouble.

Fabulous place to stay in Oban

Pros: Excellent position with parking. Beautifully decorated. Immaculately clean. Really comfortable bed. Breakfast was excellent, plenty of choices. Clive, the host was very helpful.

Pros: Quiet. There is a short-cut (with a few steps) from the centre of old town street to the front door of the hotel.

Pros: Great location and close access to town centre, friendly hosts, spotlessly clean, great sea view and a very spacious room which was room 6 the regency

Cons: Only one thing and this is nit picking could do with a slightly earlier check-in and a slightly later check out, but would certainly not stop me from staying again

A very pleasant and comfortable stay with attention to detail.

Pros: The breakfast was very good. My partner has mobility issues and the owners had arranged for us to saty in a ground floor accessible room.

Pros: Hawthornbank B&B in Oban is very serviceable. The view from our top level room was outstanding. The studio room was relatively small as was the ensuite toilet and shower recess. It was neat and tidy while the use of backpacks, rather than our suitcases assisted us to overcome the tyranny of stairs. The B&B is well located with a 5-10 minute walk placing visitors onto the waterfront in town. The car park is tight but was quite easy to park our SUV into an available space. Our host Clive and his assistants served up a delicious breakfast. The menu was quite varied. Clive also was a great help in determining the best driving route to Glasgow rather than the suggested google path. This was very much appreciated. The television is small and does not cater for streaming services. For a short stay the accommodation is most adequate. Depending on your requirements the size of the room may affect any booking decision.

Pros: Amazing location and facilities- the breakfast and parking was a great bonus. The staff made us feel very at home there and were very knowledgeable about the local area and what to do there. Would recommend to anyone.
