Coach House Ratho Park Steading

Highly recommend as an alternative to staying in town. Wonderful.

Pros: The room was very large with plenty of space and high quality fittings. The bed was huge and very comfortable. The shared sitting room/breakfast room was fantastic, and the continental breakfast was very generous. We even played pool during breakfast! Excellent dinner to be had at the nearby pub - a 15 minute walk along a gravel farm track.

Pros: The whole place is beautiful! The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Dannii and Andrew provided everything you might need eg tea, coffee, biscuits, water, etc. Dannii was very attentive and even provided us with lots ofideas of things to do and see. We were there celebrating my partners 40th and she even helped with getting a balloon and cake for me and even left her own card which was a really nice touch 😊 The Steading is about 10 mins from the nearest train station and about 25 mins drive into edinburgh itself so is a great location.

Cons: The only con is that there wasn't a hot breakfast option but that's really scraping the barrel. The food provided for breakfast was plentiful and good quality.

Faultless stay at Ratho Park Steading

Pros: We loved our stay at Ratho Park Steading and will certainly return. Danni is the most wonderful, warm host - providing us with excellent recommendations to ensure that we had the best visit to Edinburgh. The accommodation and facilities were beautiful - we enjoyed our evening in 'The Den' with wine and playing games. Thank you for hosting us!

Pros: Super friendly and knowledgeable host, peaceful location, spacious rooms with common area to share. Short drive to tram parking lot that provides access to Edinburgh.

A tranquil countryside retreat within easy reach of Edinburgh

Pros: The property is beautifully presented. All the fittings and features are high-end and feel luxurious. The whole property is tastefully decorated with every detail covered to make our stay enjoyable and comfortable. The location is quiet - on the edge of the golf club which is stunning. A walk along the tow path of the nearby canal is highly recommended - very peaceful and quite beautiful. We weren’t driving but found it very easy and quick to order Ubers into and out of Edinburgh.

Perfect stay

Pros: The property is ideally located close to the airport and public transport to the city centre. The place was calm, comfortable, and the hosts were incredibly welcoming. Everything was just perfect — highly recommended!

Pros: Lovely venue and great host. If we come back to the area we would definitely stay here again.

Cons: Was difficult to find the location but that was due to not following the directions on the e-mail properly.
