Magical 10th anniversary and gigantic bath that fits 2 very tall people comfortably

Pros: From start to finish we had a fantastic time. We came to Alamo Guest House for our 10th anniversary and it was magical. We got the room with the gigantic bath. We are tall myself (6ft) and my partner (6ft 3). We comfortably fitted in the bath and enjoyed our bottle of Prosecco arranged by lovely Annette. Annette welcomed us and showed a thorough and quick tour of the facilities. Location is fantastic and close to bars and restaurants at the west end of Glasgow. Breakfast was fantastic too, Annette took my order and it was beautifully cooked. The decor of the hotel is very cool and suited to the style of the building. The hotel is also very close to Kelvingrove Park. Worth every penny! We had so much fun we didn’t take any photos , too busy enjoying our stay 😉🥰

Cons: Don’t have anything to complain about, outer 10th anniversary was magical !

Pros: The staff were so friendly and accommodating, couldn't have been more helpful

Cons: Not much really, I'm not a fan of electric showers but they're all the same and our bathroom had one. Breakfast is cooked to order so it takes a little longer than usual. This could easily be overcome by pre-ordering the night before. However, this is not being critical, just a suggestion for anyone in a rush in the morning, it could be an option. We had a wonderful stay at The Alamo Guest House and would definitely stay again

Amazing stay, can recommend enough.

Pros: The whole experience was amazing. From being welcomed by one of the friendliest receptionists we've ever met, we were shown to our room. The room in itself was spectacular with its freestanding centre piece bath, the ornate furniture and comfortable bed. A beautifully hand written note (per my specification) had been left in a heart of rose petals to celebrate my girl friend's birthday. The room was amazing and the morning breakfast and checking out experience was friendly and smooth. We will most definitely be back.

Pros: Lovely comfortable and cosy rooms, great location, friendly staff and great prices. Everything was thought of and the guest house is really plush and beautifully presented.

Cons: We got a good deal, maybe would be expensive without that? Breakfast was lovely but I asked for poached eggs on toast and got one slice of toast and one egg! Minor complaint only.

Classy and friendly

Pros: The staff were super accommodating. Willingly helping us in and out with our bags. The breakfast service was slick and yummy. The location is so convenient to Sauchiehall St and the Kelvingrove Museum. When my booked restaurant let me down the reception staff went above and beyond to find me an equally special booking.

Cons: I loved my stay so much but I was a little shocked at the price of street parking - £40 is an awful lot per day.

10/10. Will definitely be back .

Pros: Fabulous venue , 2 mins from Kelvingrove . Spotlessly clean , beautiful furnishings and staff that went the extra mile .Annette and Claire were superb . The Alamo suite was beautiful . I’d much rather jump in a cab for £10 and stay here than stay in the city centre . A lovely , plentiful cooked breakfast , fresh .
