A little bit different but we loved it!

Pros: This is a quirky place to stay. It is clearly a (very large) house rather than a hotel. So if you are after bland, standard furnishings, layout and arrangements this is probably not the right pick for you. But if you are after character, comfort and a bit of history then Park of Drumquhassle is a great choice. Our room was lovely and clean with a fantastic view across the grounds. We saw a deer whilst sitting in bed having our morning coffee! The bathroom was great with a huge bath that was an absolute treat. Jacqueline is definitely a host with character who really looked after us whilst we were there.

Cons: No coffee making facilities in the room. But it is only a 20 second walk to the pantry where the tea and coffees are.

Pros: The house was amazing, our room was spacious and the beds were extremely comfortable.

Characterful and quirky B and B.

Pros: Characterful and a bit quirky. Not to everyone’s taste. In a wonderful location and close to fabulous scenery.

Cons: Bathroom and toilet, though private, were not en suite.

Pros: Beautiful setting and Jackie is lovely lady and very accommodating. Will definitely book again.

Pros: A warm welcome from the hostess. We really enjoyed the location with its beautiful tree-lined avenue and garden. We were able to observe some wildlife on the spacious grounds. For breakfast, Jacqueline, the hostess, asked us what we wanted and prepared it fresh. We had a few pleasant conversations with her.

Pros: Beautiful building, super comfy beds and rooms, tasty breakfast and lovely host. That was a pleasure to be here! Make sure you check the neighbourhood and park around the property!

Fantastic location, beautiful property, amazing hostess!!

Pros: The property was in a beautiful peaceful location. The rooms were huge, beautifully furnished and well maintained. Everything was spotlessly clean and our hostess was very charming and couldn’t do enough for us. It was a fantastic welcome at a fantastic property. There was plenty of safe on site parking outside the property. Our hostess recommended a nearby pub for dinner (The Old Mill) which proved to be excellent in terms of quality of food and value. Our breakfast was excellent and plenty of it. Our hostess kindly cooked it to order when we came down and it was delicious! Whilst we were there we saw plenty of wildlife which included wild deer, pheasants and even bats which my daughter loved. I can’t recommend highly enough. We will definitely be going back!
