Pros: Staff were excellent and very accomodating - it's lovely place - a hidden jem to be honest but little remote and not easiest of commutes (but worth it)

Go, stay, swim and book dinner, just perfect.

Pros: Location is stunning, rooms are beautiful with amazing views. The spa is just wonderful and the food in the restaurant was probably one of the best meals I’ve had.

Cons: No issues

Relaxing ☺️

Pros: The views, comfort of the room, the staff so friendly and helpful. Smart tv which was accessible, don’t usually get that.

Cons: Didn’t really have any dislikes. Really enjoyed our time away

Great place to relax and switch off

Pros: Great staff and a lovely facilities for a relaxing 2 night stay.

Cons: It is not a complaint but as it is remote and the weather very cold in January your options are limited- the plus side of this is that you are forced to switch off and relax

Fantastic stay. Will return

Pros: Stayed in a two bed townhouse apartment. Accommodation was excellent. Clean, cosy, amazing view over the marina. Well equipped kitchen. Comfy beds. Sauna was a nice bonus. Used the leisure facilities each day. Lovely warm pools. Baby pool is brilliant for little ones. Outdoor infinity pool is great with amazing view.. Clean, well maintained. Friendly staff

Cons: Quite an isolated site so definitely go there intending to chill

Great spa hotel, but chill out with having to reserve every single activity, it takes the sh9ne off.

Pros: Beautiful studio apartment, lovely spa facilities, restaurant staff fabulous, great location.

Cons: You have to book everything for every day of your stay, from time in the pool, meals, breakfast. Doing it online, you have to book each thing individually. It kinda took the shine off what should be a chill out time, we had to do everything to a timetable booked weeks in advance. Also, the outdoor pool is amazing, and the spa experience is fantastic, but it just takes one loud person to spoil it for everyone else. There should be 'quiet' signs all over the spa area upstairs to make sure that it's clear that the area is for relaxing, not sharing your conversations with people you don't know. Call me grumpy, but it was ridiculous.

Loved it

Pros: Friendly staff, nice rooms, BIG BED! The food was excellent, on the Saturday night we had a meal we enjoyed so much, the most flavorfull dinner we had in a long time! Handy to the Tarbert ferry too, to get to Kintyre.

Cons: Only downside to the whole complex is it's badly lit at night. Hard to see what's what, bit risky to walk around, it's just too dark.

Perfect spot to relax and get away from it all

Pros: The whole complex is beautifully designed and constructed. The location makes for a very peaceful break. Our apartment had everything we required for our stay, with a well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, lots of space and fantastic view over the Marina and hills beyond. We made the most of the spa. The highlight was the infinity pool with its stunning views over Loch Fyne and out towards Arran. The Reception and restaurant staff were efficient, friendly and helpful. A special mention for Jenny who provided my birthday spa treatment. Very professional and the salt and oil scrub was so relaxing. The quality of food on offer at breakfast was good. We didn’t visit the restaurant for other meals but will do so on our next visit as we heard very positive feedback from other guests.

Great location,spectacular poools

Pros: The pools are the highlight of Portavadie. Restaurant food was very good.

Cons: The wine list is not up to scratch for a restaurant of this quality. It is at best mediocre and overpriced.

So relaxing at Portavadie! We love it to bits and stay 2/3 times per year. The outdoor pool is outmatched for miles

Pros: We stayed in a lodge room with balcony. So spacious with high ceilings. You would pay 3 times more for a room and superb facilities like this in the city. I hope they continue to provide such competitive prices. We love Portavadie!

Cons: Nothing it’s great!
