perfect for just one night or more, because the scenery is beautiful

Pros: Huge breakfast, all you could wish for and more: lavish Scottisch breakfast for my husband and continental for me. Fresh fruit like strawberries and raspberries, different types of yoghurt, 10 types of cereal to choose from and our host Moira came checking every few minutes to ask if we were still okay.

Cons: To my taste, the breakfast room and sitting room felt a bit cold and not so cosy, but Moira made up for it with her chattery personality

Wonderful location, perfect host

Pros: Rockfoot B&B lies in a valley below the Fintry hills, with beautiful views from the large windows of the breakfast room on the vast green spaces up to the hills. The ride from Stirling is worth the time, as Fintry itself is a peaceful, pleasant village with a good restaurant, the Fintry Inn. The room for us was spacious, equipped with a rare variety of teas, coffees and cookies. Beds large and comfortable. My son tried his first Scottish breakfast (haggis ok, black pudding less so); in our stay in Scotland, this was the best breakfast (perfect eggs, mushrooms and tomatoes). I was particularly impressed by the six jams offered in elegant glass jars, each decorated differently. Moira, the host, was very helpful, polite, and nice to talk to - I have learnt a lot about dogs.

Would love to re-visit at some time

Exceptional stay in the countryside.

Pros: Rockfoot is in a beautiful location. Moira was very friendly and the accommodation was of high quality and spotless. Breakfast was great, as was the shower, quality throughout. The B&B offers peace and quiet and is ideally placed for exploring in all directions.

Cons: Nothing. Everything was excellent.

It is worthy to go out of the main roads and make a “like at home” experience.

Pros: Great place for someone who wants to stay at peace, aside from the crowds. The host was incredibly caring and willing to help. Wonderful breakfast, i.e. everyone was asked what he/she would like to have and it was done. Large bathroom.

Pros: Moira was an incredible host! Very nice room with a breathtaking view, very tasty Scottish breakfast, we enjoyed a lot!

Exceptional, I will again.

Pros: Fabulous location, very quiet. Comfy bed, spotlessly clean. Bathroom had lots of toiletries, so if I’d forgotten anything it was there. A great selection of teas, coffee and hot chocolate and a lovely breakfast. An exceptional place.

Beautiful location, excellent service and great value for money

Pros: The host was remarkably courteous. She explained everything very nicely. She greeted and treated like family. Room was very clean n tidy and well organised with attached bath. The host served very tasty and fresh breakfast of my choice. To sumup it was awesome and I will definitely go again to stay whenever I visit for business or pleasure.

Cons: Mobile phone signals issue.

Pros: Set in a wonderful surrounding Rockfoot was perfect for our needs. Our host Moira was incredibly helpful and made the most sumptuous breakfast. The accommodation was lovely and with a fantastic selection of hot drinks in the room an absolute pleasure to visit Rockfoot and we will visit in the future thanks Moira

Cons: Only staying one night. Should have made it two. . Perfect
