Pros: Excellent overnight stay after a long journey from Bristol on the way to Inverness. Lovely old building with big old rooms but tastefully decorated. We arrived 2 hours late at 11pm after awful traffic, yet the super friendly family owners were there to welcome us - and our three dogs. The bed was huge and very comfy - nice large bathroom with good shower. Breakfast was delicious - all local fresh bread, eggs, bacon and sausages. The chef is very talented and we look forward to staying for dinner next time we visit. Very well located right on the high street in middle. We had no problems parking right outside. The river walk at the back of the hotel is perfect for travelers with dogs. Will definitely return on our next trip north. Highly recommended. Kevin & Bella

Cons: No complaints whatsoever

Pros: The family who run this arw very on-hand with anything needed and very helpful. The downstairs also doubles up as a restaurant and the host has experience of working in Michelin star restaurants in London, which comes out amazingly in the food served, which is all freshly made. The breakfast is also great and made to order, along with cereal, jam, juice, etc. The room was sufficient for our needs for one night and large enough. The main room downstairs is a nice place for a warm fire and a nice room to relax and read. The host and hostess are amazingly friendly and the food was delicious.

Hosts were just lovely and food was amazing! Room was big and spacious, can’t wait to stay again!

Pros: Great location. Right on the Main Street, lovely old building, great decor, friendly staff. Food was tremendous! Can’t wait to return.

Cons: Very limited parking right outside the hotel, but 2 pay and display car parks 5 minutes away so no real hassle.

Delightful B&B in a lovely town

Pros: A delightful Bed and Breakfast in a charming town. The hosts are wonderful - friendly, welcoming and warm. Their dog is a delight. The room was comfortable and warm. The dinner that we had in the restaurant was absolutely delicious - you should definitely dine there if you get a chance.

Cons: Nothing.

Culinary delight and a perfect stay

Pros: Culinary delight - food was sensational - starter, main course and pud as well as fab breakfast and top notch packed lunch. Excellent small but thoroughly selected All British wine list … deep Pinot was fab. Lesley and Josh were delightful hosts … engaging and living our stay with us … nothing too much trouble.

Pros: Welcoming hosts, happy to point out where to go and the best walks. The bed was comfortable and warm. Fantastic food all locally sourced and smoked in house by a couple that clearly love looking after their guests well. Would have no hesitation in recommending and returning.
