Lovely place in a beautiful location.

Pros: Located in a lovely quiet area and although stands on a busy road there was hardly any noise. Beautiful view, from the room, of the river and woodland. Staff were very friendly and approachable. Room was a good size and the bed was very comfortable. I enjoyed the well cooked breakfast (poached eggs were done to perfection). Would definitely stay again.

Pros: The accommodation was excellent, very comfortable and clean. The garden room was beautiful with outside seating and open aspect to the river, where you could fish!! Food was very tasty, especially the banana loaf, which was superb.

Highly recommended again!

Pros: Second time staying here and it was even better than before. Weather was lovely on the first night so I was able to swim in the river which was an amazing bonus. Valerie is a wonderful and kind host who is very helpful and makes a terrific breakfast. Her georgous dog Bertie came for a wee cuddle in my first evening and made my day. Highly recommended for a well located, comfy stay.

Cons: The heavy rain on the second day! 😄

Pros: The property with its tasteful decor throughout is beautiful and our room was very comfortable. Breakfast was perfect, freshly cooked and delicious. Brian and Valerie are excellent hosts and even gave us an unexpected gift to mark our Golden Wedding.

Pros: Warm welcome from Brian and Valerie.Couldn't believe the room we got Amazing!!! Opened patio doors to fantastic view of river. The bathroom was 5 star . Beautiful bath and separate walk in shower. Breakfast was fantastic with wide choice of fruits cereal and fantastic full Scottish breakfast. We will most certainly be back. Big thank you to Brian and Valerie fantastic hosts.
