Lomond View

Pros: Nice apartment with everything you need for a relaxing break. Comfy beds and the upgraded shower was very good

Cons: The floors looked like they could do with a good steam clean.

Cosy and comfortable. Relax by the loch in this stunning property.

Pros: Beautiful property in a fantastic location. Very comfortable, wish I could have stayed for longer. Owners are lovely, very quick to respond to any questions you may have and also arrived to a bottle of fizz when we arrived! This property is a gem and would come back in a heart beat.

Cons: Didn’t realise that the shower wasn’t electric - one of our party used up all of the hot water. There is a boost feature on the heating should this happen but takes a while to heat up.

Wonderful views

Pros: Excellent views, ground floor, quiet, great size beds, well equipped kitchen, complimentary bubbly on arrival.

Cons: Shower door did not fit properly, of benefit would be a welcome pack with instructions as to how to work heating and thermostat.

Absolutely fantastic, will always come back

Pros: Absolutely everything… the views were spectacular… just brilliant, and we will come back

Cons: 6 of us…. The last person to have a shower was always cold… but it was still ok

Pros: The location of the property was fabulous.Our apartment had loch view which was breathtaking. The interiors of the apartment were beautiful.We were provided with a baby kit which was amazing and included a high chair and a baby cot.

Cons: It would have been nice to have some milk or milk powder for tea /coffee

Gorgeous views, lovely grounds, comfortable apartment

Pros: Great location, beautiful views, lots of space, lovely bathroom, comfortable. There are nicely kept private grounds. We had a 2 bedroom apartment. It was nicely decorated and spacious enough for 3 people or more. To be clear, some of the descriptions make it sound like it is a castle, it is not, it would have been a manor house or similar. The apartments are an add on. But that doesn't take away from the fact that it is a lovely place to stay.

What a special place for our first few nights in Scotland!

Pros: Fabulous quality apartment in the older part of house with Loch views. It had everything we needed. Complimentary bottle of Prosecco was a lovely touch.

Cons: Nothing! Wish we could have stayed longer!

Beautiful castle next to the loch

Pros: The location next to the loch was really special. The building itself was lovely, a traditional Scottish house which had been refurbished to a high standard inside. Very comfortable stay.

Cons: There were a few large potholes in the access road leading to the property- go slow and you will be fine. No complaints about the property itself.

Great stay, well worth it

Pros: Lomond View is very well located (very easy to reach and travel to other locations in Scotland) with a wonderful view of the Loch. The grounds of the castle are delightful. The apartment is tidy, clean, spacious and has all the utensils and equipment you could need for self-catering. The apartment feels luxurious and is decorated with great taste. The hosts are continuously in touch, and though we never met them in person, the message exchanges made us feel very welcome.

Cons: I cannot really think of anything. For those who might be hoping for a very quiet early night, you should be aware that there is a wedding venue nearby and that they play music until 11 or so. It did not affect our sleep whatsoever, but if you are of a very sensitive nature it is worth bearing in mind.
