Exceptional accommodation, location and service.

Pros: We had a wonderful stay in Jeff and Bridie's impeccably clean and comfortable boat house. Everything you need is provided and we could have happily stayed here for weeks. Our hosts were extremely accommodating of our late check in and went above and beyond in returning our laptop to us by post after we left it at the property. We wouldn't hesitate to stay again!

A beautiful lodge close to Loch Lomond

Pros: The lodge was brilliant - it was like a mini home from home! It was kitted out with everything you could possibly want. We only used the kitchen for making breakfast but you could easily prepare any meal - a good oven and hob together with plenty of utensils, pots, crockery, cutlery, glasses, etc. Oh, and a dishwasher and washing machine! The bed was huge and really comfortable and the bathroom had a good shower. The property had Wifi and TV. Everything was spotless. The hosts were really helpful and welcoming. They really had thought of everything, including a folder with information on the local and surrounding area, places to visit and recommendations for restaurants. The lodge was very close to Loch Lomond.

Cons: The only problem with this delightful lodge is the very close proximity to a major road (A82 I think). This is such a shame as there is a lovely seating area in front of the lodge with a beautiful view over the loch, but the road noise is a bit much. Once you are in the lodge with the door shut it is ok - you can still hear the road but it's not that noticeable.

Absolutely amazing accomodation and location

Pros: Absolutely amazing accomodation with everything you could need throughout the stay. Everything was extremely clean and tidy and the view of the lake right from the windows was unreal. Also, the most pleasant and caring hosts who were ready to provide anything we would need. Would definitely return on the next trip.

Place was immaculate, owners were lovely, no complaints whatsoever. Highly recommend.

It was fab!

Pros: It’s a beautiful property in a beautiful location. What’s not to like! Big bath in the bedroom was a nice touch too!

Cons: The midges, but that’s nothing to do with this fabulous property!

Pros: This lodge is beautiful located right on the loch, with all the amenities you need and most of all Jeff and Bridie were incredibly kind, attentive and thoughtful hosts who went above and beyond to make sure my stay was comfortable.

Pros: Fantastic views over Loch Lomond. Hosts Bridie & Jeff met and welcomed us on arrival and were fantastic. The lodge had everything you could wish for including 2 toilet/ shower rooms and centre piece of a bath in the bedroom. Plenty of things to do in the area and some great restaurants. A full information pack is in the lodge,do take time to go through it. Packed with tips and local information. Wonderful relaxing time..Highly Recommended in a beautiful location.

Ideal location with wonderful hosts

Pros: This was exactly what I was looking for: quiet, comfortable, far away enough from other people but with necessary facilities nearby. The location is great and very easy to get to. Jeff and Bridie are wonderful hosts - they went above and beyond to make sure that my stay was a great one. Highly recommended!

Cons: Zero complaints!

Pros: The location and the facilities were great. Having a washing machine was a necessity, particularly for a week's stay. The wifi excellent.

Cons: The weather didn't always play its part. Access to the property from the A9 was better had by driving in through the Duck Lake entrance and proceeding along Loch Lomond.
