Lovely place

Pros: Very homely, lovely kitchen and modern bathroom. Very comfy bed with nice quality bedding and towels. Great location. Would use again.

Cons: Like a lot of places now, the TV is just apps, so doesn't have regular channels. OK if you can remember your login details or just want to watch BBC 1. Parking was a challenge on the street.

Clean comfortable and convenient location

Pros: I was visiting family and the apartment was in the same street. It was really comfortable and quiet and had everything we needed

Cons: Nothing really. Oh no dryer was a wee bit of an issue as it rained most days but we managed.

A Helensburgh treasure

Pros: We felt that we were staying in someone’s home. Spotlessly clean and fully equipped. We could easily have stayed for a protracted period with all facilities present. I had reason to contact Emma on three occasions and my issues were dealt with in a very professional manner.

Cons: The only issue worthy of comment is that the Wi-Fi sometimes struggles to stream programs and we had several instances where the program was delayed by ‘spooling’

Fabulous property

Pros: This was our fourth stay. Love the property. Spotless and a real home from home. Everything you need for a holiday stay. Property is ideally situated and parking nearby not a problem. Ideal for elderly parents being on the level and having a large bedroom. Would definitely recommend. Communication with letting agent was excellent.

Cons: Chairs by the kitchen could do with felt pads to make them quieter. Providing a grill pan would make our cooking easier. Neither really a moan as love staying here.

Pros: Charming, spacious and exceptionally stylish accommodation. The kitchen is well equipped for self-catering. Good view of the Clyde from the living room. The bottle of fizz and nibbles on our arrival were a thoughtful touch and very welcome.

Cons: The beds are on the small size, as is the TV in the living room. The extractor fan in the bathroom doesn't work. On our last night there was quite a lot of activity from the flat upstairs beyond 11pm - heavy footsteps, moving furniture (?), drawers/doors being opened and closed.

Communication was excellent and perfect accommodation, nothing more to say.

Pros: Homely, clean and comfortable. A home from home. Had everything that you need and more.

Pros: Lovely property, very individual. Very high quality decor. Immaculately clean and lovely welcome basket. Warm, quiet, great location.

Cons: Small beds - would have been devastated to have had to share the smaller one and disappointed to share the larger, but I am quite hefty. It didn't apply to us, but would be useful to let people know about prohibitions (eg self tanning) before booking. I usually strip beds etc but I think it's a bit cheeky to tell guests they have to, especially with a fairly early check out time.

An excellent property in a great location.

Pros: The location was excellent, the cleanliness of the property and how the hosts had thought of everything. The welcome hamper was a lovely gesture. Communication was excellent.

Cons: A bigger bed in the large bedroom would have been better also a bigger television in the lounge. The settees in the living room weren’t very comfortable for lounging on after a day sightseeing

Overall satisfactory.

Pros: This was a self-catering property. Very well furnished and comfortable with a well appointed kitchen.

Cons: The TV was disappointing. The screen is very small for modern viewing and it is impossible to view live TV on any commercial channel. The only live viewing is the BBC channels. The underfloor heating was inadequate with coldish weather. It barely got warm.
