The Lookout

Great apartment

Pros: The apartment was spacious, warm and comfortable. No noise problems despite the very central location and very handy for the train in to Glasgow. The apartment was well stocked with essentials and my son appreciated all the toys and books he found. Dean was a great host, easy communication and very accommodating. I would definitely recommend this place.

Cons: A couple of very minor maintenance points, the bathroom tap is missing its handle but obviously still usable and the freezer was in need of defrosting. Not a big deal, didn't detract from our stay.

Pros: Great location, right on the front. Good size rooms, really well equipped. Milk in the fridge was a nice touch, as were the vase of roses.

Cons: Entrance and stairs were pretty dark at night, (think a bulb was gone), tv signal wasn’t great and couldn’t work the dvd player. The bathroom tap was missing the leaver so a bit tricky to turn water on / off.

Pros: We loved the location the view the flat and the host was very friendly and helpful we were only sorry we had to cut it a bit short due to me taken ill otherwise I can't fault anything thank you Dean

Cons: There was nothing we didn't like about it it also had all the amenities we needed apart from the fact we had to drive to dunbarton to get my emergency medication because we didn't come under the durasticion due to my copd flare up but that wasn't the hosts fault it was just bad luck on ours but thank you again Dean for being such a good host

Excellent

Pros: Excellent location fantastic view had a really nice stay. The kids loved the games and toys.

Cons: Couldn't get the dvd player to work but could have been user error.

Pros: Perfect location, perfect host, perfect apartment no stress involved

Lovely stay

Pros: Really large and well equipped flat, close to everything with a great view of the Loch. Warm and comfy space.

Lovely stay whether one night or a week you will be comfortable and experience the lovely town of Helensburgh not suitab

Pros: Great location plenty of room lovely view all your needs met as in facilities.

Cons: When booking needs to highlight apartment is on the first floor with double stairs.. A little information would be nice on arrival all heating was off, and was freezing, it took a while to find the boiler and switch on heating.. when I did find it I had to top up the pressure, I was lucky I knew how to do it but somebody else may not, so a little welcome pack would solve this along with checking out procedures etc Tv in bedroom didn’t work and although WiFi code left it wasn’t working. Nothing major but owner should be aware 😀

Pros: The location is great to all shops and takeaways / restaurants

Cons: The only issue we had it is a bit noisy, but we got use to it after the 1st night spent in the flat

Comfortable, clean and very enjoyable

Pros: Loved the location, the Lookout was clean and welcoming and there were plenty of essentials. The hosts were quick to answer my questions and the apartment was toastie.

Cons: The curtains in the main bedroom let in too much light. The main door downstairs leading onto the street needs replacing.

Lovely flat

Pros: The flat is really central. It is well equipped and very comfortable.
