Practically in the castle!

Pros: Amazing location, stunning views. I don't think you could stay anywhere closer to the castle.

Cons: It was fine for us but it is important to know that this apartment is on the top floor of the building (no lift). Not suitable for those who will have difficulty climbing five flights of stairs (from the street) or if you have lots of luggage. It's worth it for the view though! Oh one other thing: the address 16/10 Johnston Terrace means Apartment 10, 16 Johnstone Terrace. Stumped this Aussie for just a minute...

Estadía perfecta.

Pros: El departamento es excepcional, la ubicación perfecta, al lado del castillo de Edimburgo, y al lado de la calle principal de old Town , se pueden conocer los lugares más turísticos caminando , el Depto grande muy lindo y cómodo con vistas maravillosas , camas cómodas , ropa y toallas muy limpias , la cocina moderna y funcional, el baño y la ducha sobretodo espectacular. Edimburgo precioso, espero volver , me hospedaría de nuevo acá.

Cons: Las escaleras son chiquitas y empinadas , pudiera ser complejo si vienes con maletas grandes y niños.

Pros: It was clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated and perfectly situated

Cons: Those stairs are not for the weak.

Perfect for our family of 4

Pros: Great location, was exactly as shown. The stairs were a lot, but we knew that before booking. Host was good and responded quickly.

Cons: It was a bit noisy with the club close by and wind whistling through the windows, but we would stay here again.

Excellente semaine passée en famille

Pros: L'emplacement en plein centre de la vielle ville, la vue sur le château et la ville L'appartement et ses équipements correspondent exactement à la description.

Cons: Monter jusqu'au dernier étage avec 104 marches usées par le temps rendent l'accès au logement très difficile et non recommandé pour des personnes n'ayant pas une très bonne forme physique.

Pros: Emplacement idéal Apparemment spacieux Literie incroyable Décoration sobre Chauffage fonctionne tres bien

Cons: Aucune isolation au niveau des fenêtres qui laissent passer le froid et le vent surtout au niveau d une des 2 chambres ou le lit et contre la fenêtre et dans cette même chambre il faisait un froid de canard. Le chauffage a du mal à chauffer cette pièce. Il serai souhaitable de changer les fenêtres. Au niveau de la salle de bain le lavabo est ridiculement petit, très bas et d aucune pratique. Juste au-dessus il y a une étagère en verre ce qui peut être dangereux. Dommage car la salle de bain est très chouette. Les baluchon de linge, draps et serviettes utilisés, qui sont dans l armoire d une des chambres nous empêchent de ranger notre linge, et aussi au niveau du cagibi ou il y a la machine à laver. Il faudrait que ceux ci soient rangés ailleurs ce qui n est pas agréable. Entasser du linge contre la chaudière n est pas très sécurise Les parties communes mériteraient un nettoyage régulier. Beaucoup de saleté par terre. Immeuble de 10 appartements et 10 boîtes à clefs 🔑 cet immeuble ne semble que pour du logement touristique ce qui expliquerai le non entretien des parties communes. Malgre les instructions pour deverouiller la porte d entree de l'immeuble elle ci ne se verouille pas.

Pros: Amazing location. Large and comfortable. Note: be aware...small spiral steps and a 4th floor walk up. Not a big deal unless you are hurt, feeble, or have a ridiculous amount of luggage.

Perfect location for our family.

Pros: We were here for the Military Tattoo. You can not beat the location!! It is so awesome to be able to be right next to the castle. Everything was right there. The only thing is this particular apartment was the 4th floor. That was ok for us but would be problematic for some people.
