JOIVY Modern 1 bed Flat in West End

Fabulous quiet flat central to everything

Pros: Really convenient access to/from West End tram from the airport, ground level access, very comfy quiet flat and very tidy, ease of walking to the convention centre, great little pub nearby to sit and relax whilst waiting for check-in, very responsive host

Cons: As no air-con, ideally a fan for those unusually warm Edinburgh days and nights, more detailed instructions on where to put rubbish/recycling at end of stay. It should be noted that entry is by remote unlocking so make certain your phone is well charged with mobile internet connection on arrival (I am on Vodafone and was fine) , you have to be quick to open the door after you hear the first click, otherwise there is a very quick second click which relocks the door- it would be helpful to have the unlock option in the passkey/wallet on mob for ease of accessing when you return to the flat otherwise delays in scrolling through the check-in instructions before you can enter.

Lovely spacious apartment that is centrally located

Pros: The apartment is big and airy and is well equipped It is located close to public transport

Cons: The mechanism used to open the door is clumsy and could be problematic if your phone is flat No personal contact at all with the host

Location and the conveniences provided.

Pros: While we did not have breakfast, the location was brilliant. Close to Princes Street and everything was within armslength of desire.

Cons: Cannot really complain....we were abosolutely satisfied witth the services and the support staff were incredibly supportive.

Overall it was an excellent stay

Pros: Super clean, good facilities, close to the tram stop, walking distance to the train station, host was approachable by phone to guide when there’s a technical difficulty.

Cons: Would be better to add a drying rack for the plates and a wipe towel for cleaning the kitchen surface. We spilled something while cooking and we had to use toilet paper. I just felt bad to waste the paper.

Pros: Fantastic. Very well positioned. No contact check-in.

Cons: The apartment was great, the only thing missing was some kitchen towel.

Perfect location, beautifully maintained

Pros: The apartment is very well located and easy to find/access. It is well maintained and it felt like a comfortable space to relax in. The welcome biscuits and teabags were a lovely touch and everything was very clean.

Can’t wait to visit again!

Pros: Great location, gorgeous flat, very good commute from airport, very nice facilities and very clean

Cons: Coffee machine cups are not there and they are quite proprietary. Would be nice if couple where included

Ottima posizione e appartamento nuovo e accogliente

Pros: Appartamento situato nel West End, una zona molto bella, tipica e pratica per visitare la città a piedi e vicino a numerosi bar e ristoranti. L'appartamento, situato al piano terra, è ristrutturato e dotato di tutti i comfort. Molto pulito e accessoriato, dotato anche di tutto il necessario per l'utilizzo della cucina, lavatrice etc. Sicuramente il prezzo è nella media rispetto agli alloggi di Edimburgo, che sono solitamente molto cari. Ci torneremo senz'altro!

Cons: Come già segnalato da altri ospiti, la porta non si chiude a chiave dall'interno, quindi andrebbe messo almeno un chiavistello di sicurezza. Invece, per entrare non è data in dotazione una chiave ma si può aprire solo attraverso il link di collegamento (ogni volta che si entra in appartamento, questa è la procedura). Un pomeriggio c'è stato un problema con il link e nessuno rispondeva al contatto whatsapp fornito, fortunatamente tramite il numero di telefono su Booking (parlando ovviamente in inglese con l'operatore), siamo riusciti a sbloccare il link e entrare in casa. Andrebbe rivisto il meccanismo.

Pros: Ottima posizione. Come da descrizione e da fotografie.
