A small but comfortable property

Pros: A really clean property, the housekeeper takes good care of it and it was lovely and warm. The location is perfect and parking was easy.

Cons: The kitchen has an oven and a microwave but no crockery suitable to cook in either (fortunately we had brought a pyrex dish and lid from home). The bathroom would benefit from some storage or shelving for toiletries.

Sleepy Lion

Pros: Lovely wee holiday flat. Everything you'd expect from a holiday flat.

Cons: Stair lights timer needs adjusted, they are on during the day and off at night. The kitchen floor is very spongy infront of cooker. I work in building trade and you may want to get it looked at.

Pros: Everything very comfy apartment clean and tidy 1 minute walk to everything will definitely stop there again given the chance thank you sleeping lion

Cosy little flat

Pros: Lovely little flat, close to town centre and my sister who I was up to visit. The furniture is well maintained and comfortable. Good sized smart tv and WiFi signal was good.

Cons: This is the second time I've stayed and noticed a smell of dampness from the bathroom this time. I'm not sure if it's coming from the toilet or behind the sink, but strongest smell there. Mattress is lumpy and sinking in some parts, I note the owner has said it can be a personal preference in other reviews but also some other people have complained so perhaps the mattress is coming towards the end of its life! I had no issues with the close style entrance as I stayed in late summer but it was quite dark in the evenings, perhaps better lighting outside door would be helpful. Door knob at front door is wobbly

Enjoyed the short stay

Pros: Very easy to reach from the ferry and easy to get into the town - ideal as came without a car Nice once in the flat which was clean. Living room airy. Good communication from host and 'housekeeper'

Cons: The approach to the flat wasn't good - exactly as mentioned by previous reviewers Wondered if some wine glasses had been broken as only 2 which were a different shape and size to each other A colander would be useful Bedroom small with one side of the bed difficult to reach but not a problem for one person

Pros: The flat, location were ideal for seeing friends in Dunoon and easy access to foot ferry to get to Gaurock train station for Glasgow and Edinburgh to get about

Cons: The only one thing is for some people,when you first get to the entrance alleyway by estate agents and go upstairs could be off-putting... But once you go into entrance hall and through front door it's a spacious comfortable place with all you need, bedroom is a little small but plenty of wardrobe space !

Pros: The location, close to the town centre and the beach.

Cons: It's not a dislike but the front door requires better lighting.

We would happily stay again

Pros: Very clean and modern apartment. Good value and central location.

Twice the Charm

Pros: This is my second time as a guest here, and I'm not disappointed. The location is perfect: close to the main bit of Dunoon, and Anselmo's, an excellent chippy, is just two minutes around the corner, along with other local shops; five minutes from the main part of the town and close to a supermarket. It is beside a main street, but the flat is quiet. It has a well-equipped kitchen and bathroom with a bath. Lovely, cosy, and warm.

Cons: Unfortunately, the washing machine seems to be on the blink this time. The owner was notified, and unfortunately, it can't be sorted out during my short stay. It's good that there is a good laundrette just 5 minutes away, and I'd opted for the service wash for £14.

Pros: The apartment is nice and central with a 5 minute walk to most shops/cafes etc The bedroom had some privacy film on the windows, would potentially be appropriate in the livingroom too as the blind only covers the top half of both windows

Cons: The apartment was very cold at some times especially overnight, this can't be helped and there is plenty of heating facilities and blankets provided, but I'd absolutely recommend packing some fluffy socks or slippers for the floor
