Historic cottage next to loch lomond Luss

Lovely cottage, good location, a Christmas must book location!

Pros: Nice little cottage, comfortable, quiet and the host was great. Everything you'd expect, cooking, washing facilities, all clean and modern. Beautiful fire, great in winter.

Cons: There's quite a few other cottages that share the drive and it can get a little difficult to get in and out sometimes. (I think we just got unlucky with this).

Just wonderful

Pros: What a wonderful find. Great location. 15 minute walk to Luss. 12 minute drive to Balloch with lovely pubs and walks. Loved the cottage as well with its lovely facilities. Beautiful views to wake up to if the loch across the road. Even woke up to a winter wonderland scene of snow which was perfect. Fire in the lounge lovely. Yes you do have buy your own wood etc but you do with most rental properties now. Hearing system fantastic and easy to use. No issue in finding the property if you do you research before arriving. Look on google maps. Highly recommend staying here.

We stayed in the lovely little cottage for the first two nights of our Scottish trip and felt it was a great start.

Pros: It was a delightful cottage in an exceptional location, with Loch Lomond right across the lane and the lovely village of Luss very close.

Gorgeous historical cottage across from the Loch.

Pros: This cottage was gorgeous! Historical and right across from the loch. It was so nice - there was a bubbling stream running at the back of the property. Accommodation was comfortable - the cottage was old so you can’t expect all the mod cons without losing some of it’s charm. Lovely quiet location.

Cons: There was a problem with hot water but I messaged the host and the issue was fixed promptly.

Stunning location and property

Pros: Beautiful renovated stone cottage in an amazing location overlooking Loch Lomond. Short drive into Luss Village which was the reason were there. One bedroom and bathroom downstairs and the other in the loft with ensuite. Property is well maintained and kitchen well equipped. There is a washing machine, no dryer, but we used a clothes rack in the sunny kitchen. Good communication with Jin, the host. Overall we were very happy.

Cons: The toilet downstairs took a few attempts to get a good flush.

Room with a View

Pros: Beautifully positioned with an ever changing view down the Loch. Warm and welcoming cottage with all the necessary features we needed. 15 minute walk into Luss where the Loch Lomand Arms welcomed us for dinner. Train into Glasgow from Ballach leaving every 30 minutes. Just a wonderful part of the world.

Pros: The location was stunning. The cottage was very cute.

Lovely

Pros: We were very comfortable in the cottage! Its a really cool old building with a lovely garden and fantastic views. It was the perfect base for exploring Luss, loch lomand and glasgow. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook dinners in the evening and there were lots of places to eat nearby too.

Cons: Nothing, it was perfect for us!

Idyllic place to stay

Pros: The view of Loch Lomond from the cottage was amazing and it was so quiet. The cottage itself was perfect in every way. The bedroom downstairs was great for my partner who struggles with stairs and the bedroom upstairs was gorgeous and had its own en suite.

Cons: Could do with some more utensils in the kitchen for when you are cooking a full breakfast as hard to cook an egg with nothing to pick it up with
