Argyl - Westfield Summer Budget Accommodation

Pros: As long as I travelled primaly for the Oasis concert, which took place in Murrayfield, I really loved the location. I also liked the free gym. The room itself was okay, it was a bit hot and the window could not be fully open. Also the shower was a bit strange to me, because you couldn’t fully move with its handle. However, it overall was a nice stay.

Feeling like a student again

Pros: I stayed here for the OASIS live concert at Murrayfield Stadium. The staff were all very kind, and I was able to leave my luggage at the hostel before check-in, which was very helpful. The room was a typical dormitory-style setup, but spacious enough. There was no air conditioning. It was quite hot during the day, but the nights were cool, so I could sleep comfortably without AC. It's a bit isolated in terms of dining options, but there's a supermarket right across the street. There is a shared refrigerator and a laundry room available for guests.

Cons: The room had a closet, but there were no hangers, which was a bit inconvenient.

Edinburgh stay for AC/DC at Murrayfield

Pros: Clean and modern, easily accessible by tram from city centre, friendly staff, supermarket and bar a minute walk away, peaceful nights sleep

Comfortable, though some conveniences could be improved

Pros: There is a large supermarket right across the street, along with several restaurants nearby. The accommodation offers useful amenities in the shared area, such as coffee, tea, and a kettle, as well as a vending machine with some snacks. Another very helpful feature was the on-site paid laundry service. Since it's a student accommodation, it also provides great study and socializing facilities, as well as a gym. The bathroom in the room is modern and well-maintained, with hot water working perfectly. The bed is comfortable, despite being a spring mattress.

Cons: The electric heater in the room turned on but didn’t provide any heat. The bathroom light, which is motion-activated, would turn off intermittently during the shower, which was a bit inconvenient. It was also a bit inconvenient not having a kettle in the room and having to go downstairs to use the shared one. Additionally, the shared area didn’t have a microwave, which would have been very useful.

Lovely, budget friendly stay

Pros: It was clean, showers were hot, location is good and is close to the murrayfield tram stop so travelling into Edinburgh was simple and easy, there was a supermarket over the road for snacks, check in was also really easy

Cons: Kitchen facilities were closed off so if you wanted a coffee you had to go to starbucks inside Sainsbury’s or something similar about 5 minutes walk away

Nice little room near Murrayfield

Pros: Nice little room perfect for one or two people. Bed was quite comfortable, plug socket just above the bed was handy.

Cons: The fan in the room was quite noisy and didn't really cool the room down much, even with the window open it was quite warm.

Pleasant building, helpful staff, comfortable and clean accommodation

Pros: I lost my I Phone on my last day. The reception team were outstanding in helping me to locate and retrieve this. I would have been helpless without their technical knowledge (and patients with me not knowing my password) was above and beyond.

Cons: I would have preferred a breakfast option.

Pros: Couldn't fault anything had a good night's sleep ,good location for me pleasant staff and a good price

Pros: Great friendly staff, great gym and awesome seating area for just chilling. My flight was delayed by around 6 hours and I was about to comfortably spend the day there relaxing

Cons: No air conditioning in the rooms which is needed these days as the weather gets hotter in the UK

Pros: the quite, cleanliness, accommodating , the fridge where I can prepare lunches hot water for soup n porridge, close to sainsbury and local traffic. The coffee was not good, small point. hot water for showers.
