Amazing for a grieving family.

Pros: We as a family have had a pretty tough year with deaths in the family etc., and we just needed to recharge our batteries. We all had such a lovely time and Tay Lodge was so lovely. We ate out in the Courtyard Brasserie one night and the other night we popped to Aberfeldy for a takeaway. My 14 yr old nephew did not want to come home. My 11 yr old niece make Christmas decorations too while we were there. We did not even need a hot tub. It was so quiet at night, which again was ideal.

Cons: Having to come home! We stopped at Crieff Hydro on our way home so it was not all bad.

A nice stay for a few days in the highlands

Pros: The property was extremely clean and comfortable as well as spacious. Wonderful location.

Cons: We were not informed on check in where we should take our rubbish to. When I called on the morning of departure at 9 am I could only leave a voicemail. I tried several times. When my call was returned which I missed they did not leave a voicemail with any instructions. I called back to be answered by a gentleman who was not reception staff who was quite rude to me when I asked where we ought to take our rubbish. He spoke to me as though I should have known and told me to bring it down in our already full and packed car. As a first time guest who had not been informed already, I was quite put off by this. Surely bins should be nearer to the properties so guests are not required to drive half a mile down the road to get rid of rubbish?

Balloch Park, Aberfeldy, offered a spotless and well-equipped lodge in a beautiful setting.

Pros: Our recent stay at Balloch Park, Aberfeldy, was thoroughly enjoyable, with its lovely setting providing a peaceful atmosphere and an excellent base to explore the surrounding area. The lodge was exceptionally clean and tidy, and it was equipped with everything we required for a comfortable stay. It truly felt like a home away from home, making our visit both relaxing and memorable. Being able to bring our dog made the experience even more special and truly completed our stay.

Spotless, high end lodge with great facilities, wonderful location. We will definitely be back!

Pros: The property was spotless, comfy and within easy range of Kenmore. The jacuzzi is cleaned every change over which is great, we used it every day!The sauna heated up quickly. Lovely walks just off site. Great having the barbecue which we used with local produce! Reception phoned us early to say our lodge was ready which was a lovely touch, so we got extra time in our accommodation.

Cons: Don’t have anything negative to say.

Good lodge but more remote than expected

Pros: The property itself was very good but the location was more remote than expected

Cons: All the information for on-site and close by restaurants etc was for Mains of Taymouth not Balloch Park which is 2 miles away up a single track road.

Absolutely Beautiful, Lodge was wonderful and comfortable

Pros: The lodges was absolutely spotless, there was not a spider or web in sight. The kitchen was so equipped with utensils, cookware etc we wanted for nothing Everything was laid out lovely and was perfect for the 4 of us. The beds were wonderfully comfy and large too The lodge was warm and well controlled with Central Heating Our daughter lived in the hot tub, she thought it was great come rain or shine Things to take with you, toilet roll, kitchen roll, washing up liquid (there is a dishwasher but the washing up liquid came in handy) The location, views were superb and you never got the same view twice - beautiful All the TV's are smart and have Netflix, Amazon Prime, Disney + capability. Just make sure you log out before you leave, the previous occupants hadn't There is a Google version of Alexa in the kitchen so you can listen to the DAB Radio Stations

Cons: We found the hot tub to be heavily chlorinated, I understand why but even after showers we could still smell it. The fire in the lounge just wouldn't ignite. We mentioned it to reception and they sent someone to check it, left us a note to say it was working, we tried and got a brief flame and then nothing (BUT the Central Heating worked very efficiently so we were okay)
