Woodland Pine Lodge

Birthday weekend

Pros: The locality was amazing. Playground for kids was an added bonus. We choose the 3 bedrooms 3 bathrooms and the lodge was roomy. It was dated but very acceptable and clean. We had 2 car parking spaces.

Family Break

Pros: Good location, the lodge was roomy and accommodated 6 Adults, 2 children and a newborn. There were 2 ensuite bathrooms and a main bathroom. There was a playpark and large grass areas for games. There is also a woodland walk / dog walk. Our Lodge has its own deck with brick BBQ.

Cons: Some parts need refurbishment especially the outside deck which is loose/ rotten in parts. We moved the outside table to cover the loose boards. Overall the property was well equipped and had a dishwasher. We stayed just 3 nights but if staying longer, please note there is no washing machine. The sofa bed was really awkward to assemble. The owners struggled with this themselves for a good 10 minutes but eventually got it sorted. We left the sofa bed made up during the whole stay due to this.

Lovely views perfect for a short trip to relax

Pros: Loved being out in the forest site was lovely, my daughter enjoyed the wee park and swing ball. It was a nice relaxing place.

This is a nice place short drive into town

Pros: Lots of crockery,pots&pans Beds were comfortable Host was very nice

Cons: It’s a little tired,had problems locking front door knives need replaced none of them sharp Didn’t like that you had to pay for electricity up front

Pros: Everything was great. The lodge had everything we needed for a very comfortable and relaxing stay.

Cons: Can’t think of anything!

I had an excellent stay with family n friends and look forward to return next year.

Pros: I had wonderful stay at Woodland Pine Lodge along with family n friends. The location was great and it was easy to travel around the points of interest. Check in and check out was hassle free. I would love to visit again.

Cons: there is nothing to complain. It meet the expectations and offered everything it said. Perhaps, a lodge with better facing view would be welcome change.

Great for all,kids and dogs.

Pros: The location was great, and especially as we followed the directions for a walk down off road past the castle and Loch to Killin, so no need to walk on the road or take the car. The lodge was well equipped and very comfortable with everything needed. Kids loved it.

Cons: Slight noise from next door in the adjacent bedroom, especially when the toilet was flushed in the morning, but not really a problem!

Lovely place to meet up with friends and family. Stunningly beautiful location. It was good value for money.

Pros: The size of the three bedroom cabin was very good and three bathrooms too. The location was terrific and the owners super friendly and helpful.The kitchen was well equipped.

Cons: It is looking a little aged. The mattresses and bedding could do with and update. I was told that they have plans for some repairs etc.
