Ardshiel hotel is a great location to stay in Campbeltown. Very friendly staff.

Pros: Ardshiel hotel is a great location to stay in Campbeltown, especially if you are there for whisky tourism as the hotel has a very impressive whisky bar.

Friendly, comfortable and clean. Great stay.

Pros: Excellent hotel and restaurant with very friendly staff and an excellent whisky bar ..very clean and comfortable

Cons: Only moan would be that there wasn’t any shortbread or biscuits in the room to go with your tea

Pros: I have been visiting the Ardshiel Hotel for several years now and for the reasons I explained on your survey ,will continue to return.I feel that all the staff from the cleaners ,reception and front house do a great job and for many I am treated as a friend as well as a regular customer.The hotel itself is in a great location and offers extremely comfortable rooms and the food choice and standard is exceptional.

Pleasant overnight stay in a lovely hotel

Pros: We stayed in the annexe. The room was very clean and the beds comfortable. Toiletries and towels. Although we didn’t need it the clothes steamer would have been great for a longer stay.

Great stay with delicious food and fabulous whisky!

Pros: Good central but peaceful location. Staff were very friendly, efficient and attentive even during particularly busy periods. Food freshly cooked and good choice of gluten free options. Delicious breakfast with lovely fresh fruit, yoghurts, cereals, juices as well as several freshly cooked choices. Fabulous whisky bar with extensive whisky menu, served professionally. Rooms clean and beds comfortable.

Cons: Rooms in the annex to main hotel were a short walk away and fairly small but comfortable with a good shower and tea/coffee making facilities. Some biscuits would have been appreciated and a shelf in the bathroom area would have been useful for toiletries.
