With a backdrop of picturesque mountain scenery, Luib Hotel is located in the Scottish highlands and offers a number of local outdoor activities such as hiking, cycling, golf and fishing. The scenic locations of Loch Lomond and Glen Coe can both be reached in a 20-minute drive. Free Wi-Fi, an en suite bathroom and a TV are featured in each room at the Luib, as well as a selection of tea and coffee. Home-cooked food is served in the on-site restaurant. A well-stocked bar is also available for guests to relax in, as well as a lounge with a roaring log fire. The village of Killin is just under a 10-minute drive and sited around the scenic Falls of Dochart. The River Dochart is just over 70 metres from the back door of the hotel and can be used for trout and coarse fishing.

Amazing place to stay

Pros: Quaint lodging, very well kept, with breathtaking views. The owners were amazing (they let us check in at a late hour) and gave us tips about the next steps on our journey. If you plan on staying in the area, choose this place for the experience

Historic and traditional with great mountain views.

Pros: Its 18th century building history makes it a special place. Also if your a lager drinker it must have one of the best pints of Tennent's I have tasted. Food great also.

Old hotel, atmospheric. Excellent convivial hosts. Enjoyed our stay

Pros: We chose a simple toast and tea breakfast. We were offered seconds which was appreciated. I had fish for dinner. It was excellent

Pros: It's in a stunning setting, a 500 year old drovers in. My bed was So comfy. Hot water to sink any time, good shower but door needs fixing. Lovely people. I would go again.
