Pros: Staff were excellent. Bar was lively, food was good as was breakfast. Room was compact as was bathroom typical of older traditional Scottish hotel. Callander was good with a good choice of restaurants and bars.

Pros: James and Donna are very attentive. We have been made to feel very welcome. Food is always tasty. The Scottish breakfast is delicious

Cons: We would've liked hooks possibly on door to hang wet coats.

Pros: Nice relaxing bedroom and enjoyed having the bath. Meal was lovely and breakfast was plenty and yummy.

Cons: Leaving as another night would of been good as callander is lovely and scenery is awesome.

Pros: Callander is a favourite stay for us. First time at Waverley, great bar and cosy good atmosphere. Room was great value, bit noisy at front of hotel with traffic so would choose rear room next time. Overall great stay and good value, option with breakfast or without. Good selection.

Cons: Room at front noisy from road and deliveries early morning.

Good for one night but not otherwise

Pros: Used it before over many years so knew what it was liked but found the room cold and needing a refresh. Food good and staff helpful

Lovely hotel with exceptional staff

Pros: Wonderful staff who went above and beyond to ensure we had a great stay. Our little dog was spoiled by the chef each day with sausages and turkey. Room 7 was small but perfectly adequate for our needs. The location is fantastic as it's right in the heart of Callander. We would definitely stay here again.

Cons: Breakfast wasn't the best. Sausage was greasy and the bacon and potato scone had been cooked in old oil. Coffee was watery. A shame really as food in the bar area on both nights was pretty decent.
