Aberdour Hotel

A friendly, family-run hotel situated in one of Fife's picturesque coastal villages, specialising in fresh fare, using local Scottish produce where possible. Real ale is always available on tap, and the establishment has once again been included in this year’s ‘Camra’ Good Beer Guide. Although the buildings date back to the 17th century, all 16 bedrooms have en suite facilities, and tea and coffee making facilities. Free on street parking is available just across the road and further parking spaces can be found within 100 metres from the hotel. The hotel is an ideal base for touring, golf breaks and for visiting Edinburgh which is just 30 minutes by car/rail, with the station just one minute’s walk away.

Pros: Everything. Hotel was ace. Walked the dog in the park... Down Park Lane, across Rd on the right. Parking was tight now. Peak will be worse I imagine. The food was brilliant. Wife went to the Chicken Burger. I went local on Haggis, Neeps etc Beer and Cider were good. Dog was allowed at our table. Breakfast was included. Wife did scrambled egg etc. I went local again. Porridge. All in all a fantastic Pub, Hotel and Restaurant.

Pros: Great facilities, really a great place to relax with my pet to get away from the hard days of work. We enjoyed it.

Cons: Only the boiler was off at night and the cold bothered us.

All round excellent in every aspect.

Pros: The breakfast was as good as you will find in a 5star hotel. Only improvement might be the addition of fresh fruit. The staff were incredibly friendly and efficient and went out to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. The room we had was warm, clean and comfortable.

Lovely charming inn, dog friendly

Pros: Friendly staff, good breakfast, comfy beds, big bathroom, windows that open easily

Cons: Not much coeliac choice for breakfast haggis/black pudding but that's normal! Someone had to come into our room and look for a leak but that's not his fault.

Nice value hotel in a lovely area of Fife

Pros: Quaint hotel on Aberdour Main Street. Very close to coastal walks and golf course. Room was fine and breakfast good. A busy bar and friendly staff.

Cons: A bit dated, but adds to the quirkiness.
