Port Nan Gael Pods

Excellent stay!

Pros: We really enjoyed our stay. The pod was spotless and easy to find, and waking up to the beautiful view was a real highlight. Its location next to the inn and shop was very convenient. The staff were lovely, friendly, and always willing to help, which made our experience even better.

Cons: One downside was that when the lights are on, people can see in from outside, so a curtain would have been a nice addition as we like to keep the lights on. Also, cooking inside isn’t really possible due to the lack of proper ventilation.

Pros: Breathtaking location and superb staff. I guess that Fiona working in the Inn deserves a separate post and recognition!

Cons: Kitchenette cupboard very very very tiny turning even making a sandwich into a challenge

Pros: Very good location. Modern accomodation in naturzl setting. Good service from owner We hope to return some day!

Cosy and clean pod with a fab view

Pros: Amazing view, big car park, comfy bed, practical facilities, close to a lovely inn and a supermarket.

Cons: Second bedroom is small so ideal for kids but not adults.

Great location for exploring Mull and Iona with a friendly pub serving wholesome food at the end of the day.

Pros: Exactly what was described, very clean, great location and view to wake up to. Great first clamping experience and no wet tent to pack up at 06:30 on the last day.

Cons: I couldn’t take it home.

Tranquility

Pros: The tranquility and scenic views of the surroundings

Lovely unusual pods with a great view and comfortable. Bit expensive but for two nights it made it special.

Pros: Great experience. Views from the pod were unbeatable. Lovely inn on site although do need to book fortunately we checked but others were turned away. With no facilities to cook I’m not sure what we would have done.

Cons: Kitchenette was smaller than expected! Maybe more info needed to advise to bring camping stove or similar if wanting to eat in. Didn’t use the shop but it seemed well stocked.

What a view!

Pros: Cosy pod that makes good use of limited space. The view is just beaitiful.

Cons: A bit unfortunate we had to supply our own drinking water but there mustve been an issue with the water supply

Two night stay, with a trip to Iona. Beautiful landscape and well run site.

Pros: Location was amazing. Beautiful sunset and morning light over the sea. Good local facilities shop and pub on site. Ease of use and accessibility.

Cons: All good.

All the fun of a camping experience but in a warm and comfortable way!

Pros: The pods are really well designed and comfortable. An awful lot of good things are contained in the small space. The location is wonderful. Nearby well stocked shop and good pub complete the picture.

Cons: Water wasn’t drinkable during our stay. The kitchen part of the pod would have been so much better if just a foot wider but we managed fine.
