The Hideouts at Port nan Gael Campsite

Pros: The place is beautiful, clean and the view from the room is amazing

Lovely

Pros: Lovely accomodation. Hosts were kind enough to put in an extra bed so we didnt have to share. Lovely shop and lovely food at the pub will definately be back.

Cons: Acknowledge it said there was a kettle and cups but some plates and cutlery would have been good.

Pros: Views, food at the Inn and friendly staff there. Hideout bed was comfy and great view. Toilets and showers veru clean.

Cons: Expensive for just a pod with no ensuite and no breakfast.

Amazing 5 nights here, would definitely return.

Pros: I stayed in a Hideout which was clean with a very comfortable bed, quality bed linen with a kettle and fridge. Was very quiet with amazing views over the loch and mountains. Handy shop which was well stocked and a restaurant for hot food in the evenings.

Idyllic location, breathtaking views.

Pros: The location was so beautiful. Absolutely astonishing view from the hideouts Hosts were super informative and helpful.

Cons: Could have been some bigger bins/recycling nearer.

Glamping Novices

Pros: Easy access process. Very new and very nice. Beds comfortable with showers and toilet facilities good. And our request fulfilled and much appreciated. All in all, very happy with the experience.

Cons: We felt expensive when compared to hotel or B&B prices. But, beautifully presented. A sensor light on Hideout 1 would light up the very dark area between the Hideouts and the shower/toilet block, would make life easier.

Just what we needed!

Pros: Very cosy & quiet. Beautiful location, we even had a visit from a red deer. Very clean and comfortable slept better than I have in a long time! Shared toilet & shower, but even this works well as the 4 hideaway pods have exclusive use.

Perfect getaway, Breath taking views, peaceful location, very comfortable cosy & Clean. Loved it!

Pros: On arrival I was greeted by the manager and showed around and brought to my Pod and handed key. They were very friendly informative and extremely helpful...setting up sofa bed when they heard I had an extra person. They also double checked that I had everything before leaving me.

Cons: There was nothing that I didn't like. This location and space gave me everything I needed to have a peaceful comfortable night sleep. Surrounded by some of the best views you will see in Scotland.

Pros: Loved the location. We really liked the layout of the hideout.

Cons: No ventilation. It was too hot to sleep even with the fan on! Toilet facilities smelt.
