Lovely place

Pros: Great sized cabin, good in-cabin facilities, friendly staff

Cons: Unfortunetly most of the toilets/shower lights didnt work meaning we had to shower and toilet in the dark which wasn’t ideal. Due to us travelling for work we could not speak with staff about this as reception was closed when we were on site.

Ideal stay at an excellent price

Pros: Very picturesque location. The static caravan I stayed in was kept in immaculate condition and was more than adequate for the number of guests. Felt very welcomed.

Cons: As much as the location is breathtaking, it is a bit of a pain to get to, and depending on traffic is often more than 30 minutes outside of Glasgow. I suppose it comes hand-in-hand with staying in a static caravan in Scotland, but in the hard rain and strong gusts, it did feel as though the caravan could have taken off at times.

Pros: Stayed for 2 nights in the roman pod. Was brilliant for our little family to stay in comfy and warm as well. We got stuck on the grass and the staff were so helpful and got us out with no bother. Couldn't thank them enough. We will be back to visit again.

Amazing getaway.

Pros: We loved the location, and the heated facilities. The staff (before and during our stay) were amazing and everyone very welcoming.

Cons: The decking outside the pod was slippy, possibly could do with some grips.

Lovely stay at Campsie Glen Holiday Park

Pros: The location is fabulous but a car is necessary as it's a 2hr walk to the nearest shop, 6 miles away. Stunning scenery and the staff so helpful and pleasant. I was in a glamping pod which was really comfortable but remember to bring your bedding, towels, pots and pans, plates and cutlery.

Cons: I don't drive, that's the only downside as a car is necessary to access shops etc.

Short stay getaway nestled in the stunning Campsie hills

Pros: Caravan was lovely, very clean and spacious. Beds were extremely comfortable.

Cons: Little disappointed about the additional fee for my dogs as I assumed that was covered in the initial booking as I requested the property was pet friendly at the time of booking. Also I requested a hot tub for the duration of our stay Friday-Sunday however the first night the water in the hot tub was freezing and we didn’t get the opportunity to use it until the Saturday which was very disappointing as it was a treat for my partners birthday. The heating had been put on for our arrival however this was extremely hot and it took us sometime to figure out how to put it off.
