Relaxing break away from everyday life and only 40 minutes up the road from us! Will definitely be back but when weather

Perfect.

Pros: The chalet was lovely, comfortable, clean. The position of them fantastic, right beside the beautiful lake. Watched the wildlife, fishermen on boats all from the dining table. Outside sauna, swings, seating areas, kids play areas, etc Will definitely be back soon. Perfect break to just relax. Loved it.

Perfect place to start the new year with surrounded by nature.

Pros: We visited here for the new year. The cabin was warm and clean. Enough space for 4 to be comfortable. The view onto the lake was beautiful. It helped us slow down our hectic life. The shower was out of this world. Staff were friendly and kind.

Cosy, gorgeous and so family-friendly

Pros: Had an absolutely brilliant stay - the chalets are really comfortable and cosy, and had everything we needed. The view on to the lake is amazing! The staff were lovely. Dinner at Nick’s (twice) was incredible and such a treat - so great to just be able to walk over to this gorgeous restaurant from the chalets. Fab to have games room available too. Loved it all and keen to come back!

Very enjoyable Christmas getaway !

Pros: We liked the location of our cabin. The park was opposite for my granddaughter & the water was close enough to feel you were right beside it sitting looking out the patio with a morning coffee. It was peaceful morning & night & we all felt content just chilling in the cabin after a walk or drive around the area. I loved playing the table tennis in the games room which is something I haven't done for more than 40 years ! We had the Sunday Roast at Nick's & it was delicious.

Cons: My daughter couldn't get the DVD player to work on Sunday night so my granddaughter was disappointed that she couldn't watch the Little Miss Sunshine DVD but we actually found it funny that both my daughters & myself hadn't actually watched DVDs for about 15 years !
