Burn View

Pros: On our arrival, a bottle of cava and a friendly card were waiting for us. Burn view is very tastefully and comfortably furnished. Everything was super neat. The hosts are very discreet but accessible if you have any questions. The area is very quiet, really something for peace seekers.

Cons: Cherry on top would be an easier access and/or view of Loch Katerine.

Middle of nowhere with all mod cons (and pine martens)

Pros: Modern and well equipped in a fantastic isolated spot. we saw pine martens and deer.

Pros: Beautiful quiet location on the banks of Loch Katrine. Friendly and helpful hosts. Lovely little house, nicely furnished, well equipped kitchen.

Pros: We had a lovely stay at Burn View. Sheena and David were awesome hosts. Burn View has so much more kitchen supplies than other self catering accommodations. It is spacious with a big fridge. You can take a beautiful walk there with views over Loch Katrine. Make sure to buy enough groceries as it takes some time to the next supermarket.

Attraktive Unterkunft, aber man sollte sich überlegen, ob die Lage den Reiseplänen entspricht.

Pros: Das Haus ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet, gut geschnitten und sehr ruhig gelegen.

Cons: Man ist durch die Lage ziemlich abgeschnitten von der Zivilisation; das kommt, finde ich, in der Beschreibung nicht ganz raus. Das hat zwar auch seine Reize, aber insgesamt empfanden wir es als etwas hinderlich für Ausflüge. Es wäre schön, wenn die an sich gut ausgestattete Küche auch über Öl und Backpapier verfügen würde. Für den durchaus stattlichen Preis hätten wir das erwartet.

Oase van rust - middenin de natuur

Pros: Fantastische plek - afgelegen en heerlijk rustig. Erg mooi huis met super uitzicht vanuit de woonkamer.

Super séjour

Pros: L'agencement de la maison (superbe séjour avec vue sur la nature, chambre spatieuse, ...), l'accueil, la situation géographique par rapport au lac Katrin, ...

Cons: Rien, c'était top

Brilliant cottage

Pros: The location was great for a relaxing holiday away from it all. House was clean and tidy and had everything needed for your stay.

Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Pros: Das Haus ist sehr gemütlich und liebevoll eingerichtet und liegt abseits mitten in der Natur. Alles ist sehr sauber. Sehr gut ausgestattete Küche. Die Betten sind sehr bequem, wir haben wunderbar geschlafen. Toll ist der Ausblick vom Wohnzimmer durch das große bodentiefe Fenster in die Natur - vor allem auf den durch den Regen reißenden Bach. Die Vermieter begrüßten uns sehr herzlich und hatten tolle Tipps..

Cons: Alles super.

Rondreis Schotland

Pros: Locatie was fantatische aan het einde van een weg waar voor de rest niemand kwam. Wel in de buurt van loch Katrine voor een mooie rondvaart over het loch. In de accomodatie was alles aanwezig en zeer veel ruimte. Met de eigenaars Sheena en David goed en snel contact. Goede uitleg via de mail om de locatie te bereiken al denk je snel we zitten niet goed maar dan gewoon blijven doorrijden naar het eind van de weg. Uitzicht van uit de accomodatie op een klein watervalletje.

Cons: Eigenlijk niks houd alleen rekening met je boodschappen je bent ongeveer 30 minuten van de dichtsbijzijnde winkel vandaan. Dit wordt ook via de mail doorgegeven.
