Poachers Hut at Keepers Cottage - Hot Tub & Pizza Oven - Trossachs

The most relaxing, beautiful and welcoming stay - a perfect getaway.

Pros: Welcoming hosts, hot tub under the stars, pizza oven, orange and pink sunsets and the cosiest cabin surrounded by wildlife and beautiful countryside. Attention to detail in the cabin was incredible and we had everything we needed. We immediately felt relaxed and at home. The trip was perfect from start to finish - the only downside is that we wish we had booked longer!! We took part in the Aberfoyle Trail Running Festival - the hot tub was the perfect way to relax after the race. We also visited Doune Castle and The Red Kites, but there was a multitude of attractions and events to choose from - we didn't have enough time to see it all - gives us an excuse to come back. We had a lovely lunch at The Station Cafe in Aberfoyle and an excellent brunch at The Woodhouse Kippen before we visited Flanders Moss Nature Reserve for a walk. We can't wait to return!

Pros: What a perfect escape! From the moment we arrived we felt so welcome. The hosts are genuinely lovely and couldn’t have been more helpful. The hut itself is just perfect, so well put together with everything we could have needed. We loved the mini herd of goats they kept us laughing every day. The suggestions given by the hosts for places to visit and eat were excellent and made our stay even better. We’ll definitely be back and will be recommending the Poachers Hut to all our friends and family.

Pros: Really beautiful location, the goats were such a fun surprise and our little area was very private, the hotub was easy to use and the pizza oven made for a fun dinner!

A perfect getaway.

Pros: Such an ididilic location, a perfect little slice of paradise for a few days away. The hut is immaculate, well stocked for everything you need and extremely comfortable. We could have not been made to feel more welcome. We will most definitely be back.

Pros: Poachers Hut is so amazingly set up! Very private, hot tub has a beautiful view, pizza oven was all set up ready to go and easy to use. So many thoughtful touches like an amazing welcome basket and extra blankets to be able to enjoy the outdoors. Even inside, there’s a lovely little wood burning stove and everything is so nicely designed! Hosts Lorna and Ray are wonderful too, and the resident goats and chickens are just the icing on the cake! Loved it all so much!

Amazing hosts, views, and personal touches.

Pros: Beautiful setting, amazing hosts, and the hut had everything you could want and way more. Amazing welcome hamper, lovely hot tub, fire pit, and the pizza oven was great. A lot of very nice personal touches, would highly recommended to anyone.

Cons: There was nothing to dislike about the property. We can’t wait to go back.

The perfect quiet getaway with added little luxuries!

Pros: Everything was above and beyond what we expected! Beautiful location, the hut was exceptionally homely and our hosts Ray and Lorna added personal touches that made our stay perfect! Without a doubt would stay here again.

Pros: The views are spectacular, sitting in the hot tub at night was amazing. The hut is done to a high standard, all the added touches and wood burner to keep you warm on a chilly morning. Pizza over makes a fantastic tasting pizza, was just completely out this world I loved it so much made my birthday was absolutely amazing. Lorna and Ray are so welcoming and made our stay wonderful thanks to you both I would highly recommend a stay at tye hut.

Pros: It was the most amazing and peaceful stay ever! I love the animals that were on the property they were so cute and cheeky and a extra bonus u were able to feed them! I loved the owners they were so friendly and helpful and they provided absolutely everything. Well worth the money!
