Lovely place perfect for couples with a small-medium dog. Really cozy, warm and very well equipped!
Pros: We just came back from spending a lovely 9 days staying at The Stable. The place is as gorgeous as it looks in the pictures and perfect for 2 people and a small pooch! The kitchen is fully equipped, as well as the rest of the place. The area is really quiet and with AMAZING views and paths to walk. Ronnie was lovely to have around to help with anything and to tell us about the area and Bertie was such a patient dog of such a lovely nature, and he was wonderful with our anxious and weird dog to the point where we thing she liked him very much! We would definitely would love to go back in the future! If it rains bring adequate shoes because the walking paths in the area surrounding can get very muddy but the landscape is just AMAZING in october! Only thing I would say (and I completely forgot to mention this to Ronnie!) is it would be brilliant to have a coat hanger! ;)

Pros: Absolutely everything, The Stable was breathtaking, from the moment we arrived we knew we had chosen well. The hosts are so friendly and are there if you need them but don't intrude on your stay. The views are absolutely stunning, we will definitely return.
Cons: Nothing...everything was perfect

A wonderful, relaxing stay with incredible views and friendly hosts!
Pros: We loved everything! The view was incredible, particularly at sunrise. Bertie the dog is the friendliest pooch ever. The accommodation was immaculately clean and had everything we needed. Ronnie & Laura are both lovely people who have the warmest of welcomes. The location is perfect for exploring the local area as well as taking a drive further out. We didnβt want to leave and will definitely return!
Cons: Thereβs wasnβt anything we didnβt like!

Pros: The location was absolutely perfect! The host was wonderful, friendly, and accommodating. We will definitely book to stay at one of the hosts' properties in the future. The area is fabulous, especially if you are up there to hike/walk. The cottage was so homely and relaxing. A welcome pack of food was left for us, which was also really helpful for brekkie. Views from the window were spectacular!
Cons: Not a criticism at all, just a heads up for anyone travelling with a dog who may not be the best with other dogs... the resident dog Bertie is absolutely gorgeous and super friendly. We, however, have a reactive dog. The hosts were so understanding, which made it easier for us, but our dog couldn't be let out without a hassle (our issue). We will book one of the other properties with an enclosed garden next time, which is something I should have checked better beforehand.

Great view on the lake, excellent lodge and perfect hosts.
Pros: The view on the nearby lake is spectacular, the lodge itself is spacy, appropriately equiped en very clean. The owner, Ronny, is a true delight/character and welcomed us wholeheartedly when we arrived. We felt at home instantly and had some great laughs during our stay.
Cons: Nothing really. In comparison with e.g., Ardnamurchan and the Isle of Skye, the landscape and views are totally different, but when you love lakes and forests, this is the place to be in Scotland!

Wonderful stay, amazing accommodation with spectacular views
Pros: Wendy was our host and she was so helpful. She even helped me wash our hire car before we returned it. The cottage is adorable with amazing views, that change with the weather. I cannot fault this place. We will be back.
