Riverside Cottage

A perfect place to relax and enjoy nature.

Pros: We’ve stayed here twice a year since our first time in 2020, we love the solitude, the beautiful scenery, the red squirrels in the garden, the cosy living room and well equipped kitchen.

Cons: There is nothing to dislike.

Very peaceful, quiet location, tea room was a big plus, with the drive up to Loch Lyon breath-taking

Pros: Lovely location by the river, with the tea room only a few minutes walk away. Glen Lyon - one of the most stunning glens in Scotland. Trout fishing permits easily obtained from the tea room.

Cons: Unfortunately my wife fell ill shortly into our stay and we left the property two days early. Must say that Aberfeldy Medical Practice were absolutely superb dealing with my wife's unexpected illness.

Easily one of the best week's stays in a clean and comfortable house and safe surroundings, thanks.

A beautiful, cozy cottage in a beautiful location.

Pros: This is a lovely cottage on the banks of Glen Lyon. Log fire, comfy bed, well-equipped kitchen. For a old cottage, it was well insulated and warm. It's very peaceful and although next to the road, there's very little traffic. The views along the river are stunning. The Post Office has a terrific cafe and is just 5 minutes walk across the bridge. We found the WiFi to be fine and were able to stream movies etc. with no issue. The place was immaculate and apart from a dodgy hinge on a kitchen cabinet, everything was in great condition.

Cons: I guess an earlier standard check in and later check out time would be nice but that's just being picky!

Loved every minute and hope to return very soon.

Pros: The location is unbelievable the garden backs onto the river. The cottage is beautifully equipped. Warm and very comfortable. Log burner is very efficient and easy to use.

Cons: The only negative was the key safe had been moved and we hadn't received an updated location found it by default but would have liked to have received an email as regards the move.

This house will force you to relax

Pros: Stunning location and views onto the river. Supremely quiet location. Very cosy in the evenings.

Cons: We don’t own it :)
