Perfect bolt hole for exploring Glenlyon

Pros: Excellent location for Munro bagging in Glenlyon. Everything worked and utensils, towels, soap etc were all there. Warm and comfortable. Helpful staff.

Cons: Booking.com said ‘free WiFi’ but this was only true if you had an EE or BT account and logging in was a little flakey.

Outstanding

Pros: Fantastic cottage in a truly outstanding secluded location. It genuinely had everything we needed for a self-catered holiday. Added bonuses were the local wildlife, and the friendly farmer next door who gave us free eggs from his chickens!

Pros: Very cozy cottage and friendly people. The Bothy ticked all the boxes immaculately presented and welcoming. A relaxing few days in tranquil surroundings. Cant wait to return.

Quiet and faboulous place to spend the time away.

Pros: Wonderful surroundings and plenty places for walk. Very excluded and you won’t see any people/tourists around. Getting there takes time but you’re ending up with a great place to relax, far away from the crowds. Property was easy access able and clean. We had everything we needed.

Middle of nowhere but in a good way.

Pros: It is a really nice cottage in the middle of nowhere. If you want to hide from the civilization it is the perfect place. The scenery is amazing, the cottage is nice, cosy and very clean. Perfectly mixed the old and modern, I just loved it, as well my kids. It is fully equipped, even a tumble dryer is at hand. In the neighborhood there are plenty of beautiful trails as well.

Cons: If you are not a well trained driver, don’t go through the dam-drive. It is a really narrow single lane “road”. The scenery there is breathtaking, but you have to drive very carefully. There is a longer way to reach the cottage around the loch which is easier to drive.

What a place! Simply amazing

Pros: We loved everything about the accommodation. It was clean, the beds were extremely comfortable and it was very tranquil. I would 100% recommend!

Cons: Nothing. Everything was perfect and I genuinely cannot think of a negative experience.
