Beach House

A wow house view and location.

Pros: The view, the wow factor, the space. Very clean. Very comfortable. Decor was lovely. Location was the best, for our few days stay. Would love to stay again.

Cons: Too much technology, with no instructions. House heating system, Japanese toilets with tech really not needed. Jacuzzi bath, steam cabinet shower, tvs and radios in the washrooms all items high tech with no instructions or controls visible. But we did contact owners agent and they dealt with the house heating for us. Thank you.

Great holiday, perfect house for our group

Pros: Great house, great location, perfect for our group of friends and family and the dog. Loved the little runway outside (we saw one plane take off very exciting!) and the beautiful rocky beach.

Cons: The house needed coat hooks and boot racks for our wet gear

Amazing time with our family and a garden for the grandkids to play outside!

Pros: Beautiful property with lots of space and views. We loved watching the occasional plane fly in and then take a walk to the Glenforsa Hotel for a meal. Afterwards we would walk across the runway to the beach :)

Cons: Maybe another shower as there was only one

We had an excellent stay and really enjoyed the property and exploring the island.

Pros: The views from the house were magnificent and it is a very beautiful house which is well equipped and comfortable. We particularly enjoyed watching the changing weather on the loch.

Cons: It would be helpful to have a place to hang coats in the entrance hall. The bathrooms both had quite complicated equipment in terms of a jacuzzi bath and walk in shower and it would have been useful to have a clear set of instructions on how to use them. We also hadn't appreciated that the living room was upstairs which gave the elderly, less mobile member of our party some issues as the banister was not easy to grasp. You also need to be a bit prepared as the local shop shut early on the night we arrived, and the hotels were booked so we had to go back to Tobermory to buy dinner.

Pros: Modern, spacious and lots of social space. Modern baths with warm seat commodes and with jacuzzis. The view from top stairs lounge is awesome!

Cons: It's a new build so quite a bit of snagging to be done. Say if you use the jacuzzi upstairs then we could see water seeping through the roof of the downstairs bedroom. It is not realistic to just have one bathroom with a shower for such big accommodation. The sink in master bedroom ensuite is just for completeness. The tiny sink is located on top of commode which is a pain to reach!

Beautiful house in a great location and would definitely go back.

Pros: Location was excellent. The living room was upstairs to maximise the views of the sound of Mull…. Watching boats and the airstrip in front was fantastic, watching small aircraft and helicopters land/ take off. This was a self catering house which was well equipped and extremely modern. It was dog friendly and spacious throughout. 4 massive bedrooms with one on-suite and a dressing room. Our neighbours were 3 heilan coos which was lovely as the downstairs was full length windows for light and views.

Cons: The garden was not landscaped ( think this is a newer build which may not be fully finished). There is a patio area outside the kitchen with full length patio doors opening to a seated area, but was not used as the views were much better from upstairs area.

Pros: Excellent property in ideal location for someone with a car. Spacious & comfortable!

Une très belle maison au calme.

Pros: L’endroit est magnifique et très calme. La literie est très confortable, le salon est vraiment accueillant et reposant avec une vue somptueuse. Nous avons eu plaisir à faire un feu dans la cheminée un jour de pluie. La décoration est faite avec goût. La buanderie est très pratique et nous avons apprécié la machine à expresso (capsules) pour le café. C’est un véritable havre de paix, on a eu la chance d’apercevoir une fois un jeune cerf et chaque jour des lapins et des oies sauvages sur la piste de l’aérodrome devant la maison.

Cons: Il y a des équipements qui sont trop « gadget » : la baignoire spa à multiples fonctions fuit donc nous ne l’avons plus utilisée après avoir remarqué le défaut. En plus il n’est pas possible de se doucher dans cette baignoire : on peut s’y relaxer mais on ne peut pas se laver (pas de tuyau et de pommeau de douche), il faut donc ensuite descendre dans la salle de bain du rez-de-chaussée pour se doucher. En définitif, il n’y a qu’une seule douche, ce qui est assez peu pour une maison avec une telle capacité d’accueil. La cuisine est grande mais assez peu équipée.

Pros: Posizione stupenda sul Sound of Mull, casa modernissima e con grandi spazi, amplissime vetrate molto panoramiche, accesso e parcheggio senza problemi. Molto pulita e ovviamente silenziosissima

Cons: Cucina amplissima e moderna ma molto dispersiva, con spazi enormi e attrezzatura minimale; non sono riuscito a capire con che logica siano stati realizzati i bagni, con gli specchi senza prese per rasoio, e le uniche prese poste nel bagno di servizio senza specchi. Il lavabo del nostro bagno é stato collocato dietro il water!
