Pros: The apartment was beautifully clean, and well equipped with anything you could possibly need. It was about a 10-minute walk or so down to the town and there were views of Oban Bay between the buildings. I rang the owner when we arrived and when we left and she was very pleasant.

Cons: It was all great.

We have stayed in Oban several times and this was the best equipped that we've had.

Pros: Apart from the uphill from the centre of Oban, it was an excellent location. Don't be put off by the communal dated staircase. Once through the apartment door you are in a lovely environment. All the equipment needed to self cater was there.

Cons: The lighting level is quite low for us old folk but this was remedied by a temporary upgrade courtesy of Tesco!

Pros: well equipped city appartment with wonderful sea view, living in uptown Oban like a real citizen, good starting point for trips (try the ferry to ilse of Mull), closeby Atlantis world is fun for kids (try the indoor and outdoor playground facilities and the swimming hall), cosy pubs and restaurants around the corner, take a uphill city walk (and explore Oban Hills Hydropathic Sanatorium)

Cons: it takes some time to get used to heavy carpet in living and sleeping rooms

We had a fantastic stay in Oban, the apartment has everything one could ask for.

Pros: Wonderful apartment, great location and very friendly hosts. Would definitely stay again and recommend to friends. Super close to the centre and great views. Bonus for easy access to parking.

Cons: Shower was a bit low pressure.
