Springbank Apartment

Good location , fine if you like lots of stairs. Well presented

Pros: Good location, close to shops and restaurants Good facilities including crockery washing machine and microwave Comfortable and clean. Good shower.

Cons: Up three long steep flights of stairs and no elevator as seems to be the case throughout Scotland Didn’t even try to carry our suitcases up there, would have killed me. Parking is a pain. Only free parking is up a horrendous steep flight of stairs leading to Ardconnell street. Absolute heart attack material. My heart rate was at 200 by the time I reached the top. There is council paid parking but it is restricted after 9am.

Perfect modern wee flat in centre of Oban !!

Pros: Centrally located but very quiet, had all amenities required . Clean well decorated with a great shower and comfortable bed .

Cons: Lots of stairs to climb hadn’t checked on booking should maybe advertise this individually as flats on 3 floors

Great Location

Pros: The location because it's very near the town, Room was very well equipped and very comfortable

Cons: Rubbish bin at the front door. We like some personal service. Very noisy with people going up and down the Jacobs Ladder next the building. Very strong smell of hash (green) in the entrance and in the room from people outside WHICH CANT BE HELPED FROM THE OWNERS.

Short break in Oban

Pros: Very clean, good location, comfortable bed, nice decor, lovely shower and bathroom, only the one room was fine for a short stay.

Cons: We were given a code for the main door of the property, unfortunately the door was unlocked, there was a notice posted on the inside of the door telling us not to lock the door, this made us feel that the security was not good in the apartment block

Pros: Clean and comfy well thought out only thing I would say Not a fault mire to be considered perhaps a couple of hooks in bathroom to hang toiletry bag and house coat when showering

Cons: The 51 stairs to floor 3

Pros: The apartment was perfectly located in the centre of Oban. It is a compact little unit, but provides the perfect base from which to explore the area. Very comfortable.

Cons: Hiking 3 flights of stairs with cases and provisions.

Excellent apartment and fishing town

Pros: Excellent apartments! Extremely clean. Very well looked after. Couldn’t fault the apartment!!! Centre of town. Absolutely loved Oban and the apartment! Would 100% stay again. Highly recommend!!! Everything you need in apartment is there for you to use… Hope we can rebook next year! Thank you 😊

Cons: 3 flights of stairs but property was worth it

Pros: Comfortable open plan room with all facilities you need. En suite toilet with shower, towels, washing machine, clothes drying rack, microwave, kettle, cooker, fridge with small freezer etc. Located in the centre of Oban. We climbed up the many steps that were located at the side of the apartments to Mcaigs Tower. Super view! Two car parks within a 2 minute walk from apartment.

Cons: The property was hard to find….needs clearer instructions/map or picture from outside and information to say that the apartments are renovated from where the distillery was. The view from the window wasn’t as shown in their advertisement, instead we were looking at side/roof of church. Room number 9. Although there was a better view sitting in bed of part of the harbour. Overall I would stay there again as the apartment is clean, compact and has everything you need for a short or long stay in Oban. Take your own tea, coffee etc though as it’s not provided. Again not a problem for us as we have our own preferences.

Very happy with this stay

Pros: Beautiful apartment. Great for my partner who was working remotely. Location was close to town centre making it easy to pop out for a seafood lunch. Had a really relaxed stay.

Cons: Worth noting that if you park where they recommend there is a lot of steps to climb/descend. Probably not very suitable for those with mobility issues

Relaxing and comfortable, close to everything we wanted to do.

Pros: Clean, comfortable, good kitchen enabling self-catering, great location.
