Cosy detached house in central location

Pros: So much room within accommodation. Bedrooms, kitchen and living room.

Cons: Absolutely nothing!

Wonderful stay with wonderful hosts

Pros: The property was warm and welcoming. Large enough to accommodate our group and bed were comfy. Our hosts left a new year parcel for us which was very kind and generous! The home baking was 10/10.

Pros: The accommodation was spotless fresh milk and home baking was a nice touch from the girls.

Cons: Very happy with everything.

BEST GROUP STAY LOCATION. 8 VERY HAPPY PEOPLE

Pros: This place was amazing. Spotlessly clean, peaceful, comfortable, spacious with a dining room and lounge with fully equipped kitchen including things like t-bags, jam, milk, oil, bin bags etc. pots, pans, measuring jugs - everything you could need to cook. There is even a dishwasher and washing machine and tumble dryer. The rooms were all large and warm (you could adjust the heating though) and the showers were good. Small touches like homemade shortbread, soft towels and blankets made it even better. The host was readily available even though we booked at short notice and even let us check out late! For people interested we found our bed nice and firm, others chose beds that were softer or as firm - so there was a range. It was an easy walk to the train station (8mins slowly with luggage) but there was secure off road parking too. The Lidl and Tesco are about 3 mins walk away.

Cons: This place was the best i've ever stayed in - so hard to find something we didn't like. We didn't realise until leaving that there was a recycling option so we had to go through the rubbish and rescue the card. Really not an issue but a paper and card rubbish receptacle might be helpful.

Excellent house in Oban.

Pros: Brilliant house, so well kitted out with lots of homely extras including beautiful homemade short bread. Very spacious house, Brilliant for a group of friends. Location is great, 2 min walk to aldi or lidl and 5 mins to the harbour of Oban. Lots of parking too.

Cons: Nothing, we will definitely be back.

Very nicely renovated older house with modern amenities.

Pros: Enough space for our group of 6 seniors. 3 bathrooms/showers and toilets Fully equipped kitchen and roomy living room with TV Parking in the premises (beside the house) Good location: not too far from downtown (restaurants, harbour), near supermarkets

Cons: Although excellently renovated, the house has different floor levels. The height differences of the floors are variable, which could cause somebody to misstep. Especially for older people, this could cause a serious mishap.

Pros: Great location and excellently equipped house with a very cozy atmosphere.

Cons: A few of the windows are a bit drafty in the kitchen and dinner room.

What's not to like...

Pros: This is a fabulous cottage in a fabulous location. Very spacious and well equipped with parking for at least 4 cars, a big bonus in Oban. This was our 2nd visit to Invercalda, and we would not hesitate to recommend it to others.

Cosy, cosy cottage!

Pros: The cottage was a good size for our group of 5 friends. It was warm and cosy and the beds were very comfortable! It was only a short walk into town with its lovely sea view and good places to eat.

Cons: There was nothing that we didn't like!

Cons: Stairs from upstairs a wee bit tricky to negotiate plus a high step from the kitchen to utility room.
