Shepherds Forge

Pros: Fantastic accommodation in a wonderful setting. The hosts were extremely helpful and communication was easy!

Cons: That we couldn't stay longer!

Relaxing birthday weekend.

Pros: Peaceful with beautiful views and access to the loch. It was nice to have the fireplace ready for our arrival. Wee touches from the owner made the difference (welcome tray, Nespresso pods available, cooking oil, plenty of the fire wood etc). A comfy bed guaranteed good sleep.

Cons: Not the fault of the property, but worth mentioning that the access road is full of potholes from both directions. Very sharp decline to enter causing scratching the bottom of the vehicle, however the new entry is getting made and it looks not far away to be finished. The bed could be less squeaky.

Pros: Very cozy and clean forge, very very well equipped, super beautiful location and great hosts

Pros: A fantastic little holiday home in a idyllic location. The heated floor in the kitchen was a nice touch. Thank you again to Olive for accommodating us with the snowy conditions over the weekend.

It was a very short but lovely stay and I hope to be back again soon when the weather is warmer.

Cons: We only managed to stay one night because of the snow but I can’t fault anyone or anything

Pros: Perfect location for peace and tranquility with fabulous views. The Forge was very comfy, cosy and very well presented. Welcome products very much appreciated. Maybe a roller blind on the internal porch door would make the living area more private and cosy in winter months. Roll top bath great, however water tank capacity too small to fill bath. An upright shower would use less water.

Absolutely fantastic cottage with stunning views.

Pros: The cottage was cosy and warm with the log burner.,It was equipped with everything we needed and the bed was so comfy. The views were sensational and so quiet and peaceful. I highly recommend. The little extra touches like banana muffins, shortbread and milk which were left on a tray for our arrival was a lovely gesture.

Cons: I couldn’t fault anything. There is no tv which might bother some people so I would advise taking your own entertainment .
