Pros: Unique place to stay and a great base for exploring some of the Fife coastal path. We loved being able to relax at night and play a few games of pool etc.

Another very enjoyable stay, even the weather didn’t put a dampener on things. Very cosy.

Pros: Well laid out, accessible to local amenities and train station. Comforting.

Brilliant

Pros: Very peaceful, had 4 nights of really good sleep. Bed was very comfortable. Didn’t have time to try the pool/snooker table but a nice bonus to have.

Cons: North queensferry is a beautiful place but would definitely recommend you need a car, it would Definitely benefit from a local pub and a few more shops. The log burner was a nice touch but its position seemed wrong, nearer the sitting area would be good. Phone network is bad in North & South Queensferry but not an issue for me. I will definitely try and book again.

Great location, Quirky Property with Bags of Character.

Pros: The Armoury is really convenient for the train station in North Queensferry and has breathtaking views. There is a lovely Cafe nearby (Rankin) and you can even walk over the Forth Road Bridge to (South) Queensferry and its lovely shops, restaurants and pubs. The accommodation itself is quirky and spacious.

Cons: The bed was a little uncomfortable and the walk from the bedroom to the bathroom was a little long. There was also a strong, almost overpowering scent from the Glade Plug-in, used to mask the slight smell of damp in the bedroom. They should use a floral scent and a dehumidifier, as the cotton-fresh one was a bit much.

Quirky decor, quiet location, beautiful stay

Pros: Beautiful decor and exactly how it looks on pictures and description. We wanted to stay somewhere outside of Edinburg but close enough to travel in so this place was perfect. Lovely quiet location with costal walks nearby and the train station just a couple of minutes walk away. Loved the style and how quirky this place was. Lots of hearing (especially love the fire) so lovely and warm. Nice bottle of red waiting for our arrival which was lovely. The pool table was a great addition and could get tv apps on the tv if we wanted.

Cons: The bed wasn’t the most comfortable but everything else was exceptional.

Quirky, chilled and enjoyable stay!

Pros: Loved the quirkiness of the bunker. It's been refurbished well, and the hosts have generously thought of home comforts for the stay, e.g., tea, coffee, sugar, oil, condiments, etc. We were happy to have a stocked kitchen with utensils to aid our stay. The bedroom and bathroom were very spacious! The bed was comfortable and warm. The hosts were very attentive and provided clear instructions for check-in. The views from the roof of the Amroury are beautiful. We took advantage of the nearby coastal walk too and roamed around North Queensferry. Great location! We were happy with our stay! It was very chilled, which was exactly what we were looking for.

Cons: I can only provide minor issues. A big part of the lure of this place was the pool table for us. I get it's a bigger table as it also allows for snooker, but it was annoying to play at times because of the limited space (table is too big and too close to walls and artwork). This is a very personal issue, and I understand it might not be an issue for others. The extractor fan in the toilet connects through to the bedroom ceiling, which was a tad noisy throughout the night. I don't agree with the damage fee required, (non-refundable £30 or a hold of £500 which is not explicit when booking - just states there is a fee). It's fair to have a reasonable deposit and have this returned on inspection afterwards, like many other places booked before. Or at least be clear on the cost prior to booking confirmation. It feels like this is just a way to make more money out of people.
